‘Dilwalo ki Dilli’! This is how one describes this kaleidoscopic city with many cultural layers, hidden gems, historical forts, and of course its people. Be it the winding lanes of Old Delhi, renowned markets like Kamala Nagar, Sarojini Nagar or the ever-rising skyscrapers and high-tech shopping malls and entertainment centres, Delhi is a perfect blend of old and new. This is precisely the reason people who have lived in this city for far too long leave their hearts here. You can take a person out of the city, but you can never take out the city out of its people.
There is yet another reason for this. There are a lot of fun places in Delhi you could head to on the weekends (or the weekday), such as entertainment centres, museums, amusement parks and book cafes.
Let’s get on with the exploration, shall we?
