Following a surge in fresh COVID cases in 2021, the Health Ministry issued new quarantine rules for travellers, clarifying that only passengers without COVID-19 symptoms will be allowed to fly and on arrival will have to self-monitor their health for 14 days. The ministry has given state governments an upper hand in developing their own protocols with regard to quarantine and isolation as per their assessment of the situation. So before you plan to travel, go through the complete guidelines of the city/state you are heading to and comply with the same to avoid any hassles.
