Munnar does not have a railway station too. The closest railway station is in Aluva, about 106 km away. The Ernakulam Railway Station (123 km) is a major connecting point between Munnar and other states.

Road:

Once you reach Madurai, Cochin, Ernakulam, or Aluva, you can take a cab to Munnar. There are private and government-run buses available to Munnar from these places.
