Stayed at a family room. Affordable and convenient. The host was very friendly, provided us with free coffee and plates for food. Hot water and towels were provided. Walkable distance from bus stop. Thank you Sanmugam sir. Recommended for budget stays.
The place, its cleanliness and there supportive staff was excellent. This hotel is completely value for money. Silence and thee behavior was also a great quality of them.
I stayed in this hotel during the Month of April (Peak Season) and I do have mixed feelings in this hotel. 1. Rooms are neat and tidy and as a guest we did have all our requests fulfilled. 2. Accommodation facilities to support people during our stay can be improved. 3. They do have a restaurant inside a hotel and a wide variety of restaurants are available in walking distance 4. You can request a room with a view and the view is spectacular.
Very worst maintainance. Bad room service and facilities provided were not working.
This is not room. it is bullshit. Very poor service, Money minded, full damaged room, poor responsibility They said like deluxe and premium room. but both room look like same. nothing different but the price was very high. Room and restroom lock are broken, they replying like irresponsible.
Worst experience . After reaching hotel they asked me 60 percent more money .fab hotels are the one to blame they said adequate size room but after reaching they gave tiny room. No room service. No telephone. Fab hotels didn’t kept their promise to give the room as discussed when booking.
I recently stayed at Abirami hotel and unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. There was a significant delay in response from the staff, and requests were either ignored or could have handled with little urgency. Basic hospitality and attentiveness were lacking, which affected the overall experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving service standards for future guests.
This is the worst hotel I ever had seen in kodaikanal . they're room was very unclean and dirty .The window is covered with spider web.The bed , bedsheet and pillow is covered with dust and dirt . The light is very dirty and dull also the tv is not working and the tv remote battery is already dead . They have no any heater in the bath room and the tap is already broken . The shower was very dirty and rusted . The car parking place was very dirty and they didn't have a proper place to park vehicles. The checkout time is not 24 hr as they mention during checkin time. Above all this hotel is using the name of fab hotel groups illegally , which is a crime and cheating the online explorers. This cheap behaviour of the hotel is punishable by law .worst hotel with worst manager and staff
Not at all good experience. I stayed with my family including my 2 year old daughter from 19th April to 21st April 2019. Pros: 1. Part of fab hotel and hence was easy to book after an earlier reservation with another hotel got cancelled due to hotel closure. 2. Booked family room, even though it was a large room, the room quality was mediocre with old torn furniture. Cons: 1. Check in time was 11.00 am, reached hotel by 2.00 pm and had to wait another hour and half for room to be sorted. 2. Got room in -2 floor, no lift and no room service, had to carry my luggage myself two floors down and back up. 3. No ventilation in room, was like a bunker with only one window opening to an unfinished outer wall of the neighboring building. 4. Says it is a 3 star hotel by fab, but no facilities available like toiletries (not even soap was given), coffee maker, not even a water bottle, no restaurant facility (did not even want to try the included breakfast from the looks of their dining hall), no television in room (no channels available as no set top box), 5. Kodai is a hill station, but hot water available only from 06.00 to 09.00 in the morning (absurd). 6. The person in-charge (whose name I believe was Kumar) was not at all professional or courteous. Demanded cash since card swiping machine was not working and wanted full payment at time of check in, was not ready to wait for me to check in first, go out and get money from ATM. For every requirement of mine (which were facilities available in the hotel as per fab hotel website) the answer was a simple no by him and no alternatives available. 7. Since the room was in -2, no mobile coverage available and there was no wifi available in room (even though their website mentioned it is available) Overall, we just spent our time outside just to be away from this horrible place. Definitely was not a good experience, Fab hotels needs to reconsider their offers regarding this place. They say actual rent is ~7000 and discounted rate is ~2000, But WHAT IN THE EARTH HAS THIS HOTEL GOT FOR Rs. 7000 OR EVEN RS.2000?????
Horrible experience, one of the worst hotel stays of my life I must say. This room is worth 900 to 1000 INR per night, single penny more than that is foolish. First of all, room was small, dark and stinking. Bathroom was not cleaned (If I mention the details of it, people reading this review will be 'yukk'). No Towels, Soap etc provided. (When we camedown after first days shower, we checked at reception. They gave Soap, we told no need of Towels now as we had our own towels with us). After seeing there restaurant, we did not have lunch or dinner there. (One night, we just had fruits for dinner, just to avoid the horrific experience of having dinner there. Breakfast was ok, Dosa was not that bad. Idly was below average, Pongal was too. Hotel staff must be made aware of there is a word called 'hygiene'. There were some liquid in offering as part of breakfast, which looked like Tea/Coffee. If it was really Coffee & Tea (that's what hotel staff told!), I must say i had worst Tea & Coffee of my life already. We could not have more than 2 sips & left. We saw other customers could not drink that as well. Cherry on the cake was, at the time of check out. I told the reception guy that i will make my full payment through Fabhotels mobile application. He told, even if i make full payment online, i have to pay again at the reception by cash/google pay also. Because, if i make online paymnet, it will not come to them it seems. I don't know how i controlled my laughter, after requesting him couple of time, i felt that is useless. And, paid the remianing amount (I had paid Advance via online while booking) via UPI. I don't want to relive those moments by remembering each point to write this here, so will end it. I know Kodai was very crowded on those days and all the hotels, transportations were sold out. But, if any hotel gives service like this, that is an insult to that profession/Industry. I will never trust Fabhotels and never ever will book any of the Fabhotels. Thank you for ruining our holiday.
