I am writing to express my utmost dissatisfaction and frustration regarding my recent experience at fab hotel lotus 1, surat on 18th october 2024. the level of service and cleanliness we encountered is utterly unacceptable and far below any reasonable standard, especially for a hotel that claims to offer hospitality.
here are the specific issues we encountered:
1. upon our arrival at 2 am, we were shocked at the complete lack of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hotel. the rooms were in a deplorable condition—filthy, dirty, and completely unsanitary.
2. the toilets were revolting, stained with brown marks, indicating that they hadn’t been cleaned for a significant period.
despite our complaints, the receptionist refused to arrange any housekeeping, citing that no staff was available at that hour. this is a gross failure in basic hospitality services.
3. your customer care team was equally incompetent and unhelpful, failing to provide any solution. when i requested to change my booking to a one-day stay, i was met with complete indifference and a lack of support.
4. as a senior citizen, i attempted to take photographs to document the conditions, only to face aggressive, violent, and abusive behavior from your receptionist, which is absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable.
5. this entire ordeal has caused us significant distress, and i am appalled by the deficiency in service and your company’s breach of contractual obligations. i did not stay at your hotel and will never consider staying at any fab hotel property in the future.
6. given the severity of the situation, i demand an immediate full refund of the advance payment of inr 3000, which was paid for a service that was never provided.
7. i reserve the right to pursue legal action through the consumer forum for lack of service, harassment, and mental distress caused during this incident.

The room was not clean and the bad smell came from the pillow .the fan was not working .the mosquito bit full night .
overall a bad room but the service was good

Therd claas service.fecility is less than and reply is not priper and not reliable .cloth stand ,.bathroom tabel bathroom met hangar etc 8s not available in room.setting chair is brokan breakfast tabel is not available in all rooms

I booked the stay through customer care executive. he said he will give me breakfast included in the stay - however, it wasn't done. upon asking the receptionist confirmed it wasn't there. secondly, the customer care executive also said "we have a dedicated parking", the same was also mentioned in the app - however, there is no parking space given and they did not even bother to help. thirdly, thr rooms were not at all clean. also, thr entrance of the lift does not seem to be cleaned ever. usually, fab provided toothbrush and toothpaste. it wasn't provided. location of the hotel is good. staff was good. but overall, the stay was not good. the guest coming to the hotel were not good. (hope you understand). it is okay to increase the price for the stay but fab has to maintain some standards. this is the first bad experience of fab.

Genuine feedback..and i think fab must take this very seriously
1. just reaching reception on our first day, receptionist asked for total amount and that was so disgusting. when asked for reason ,he mentioned ' badme guest pareshan karta hai and also fab hotel se baat karlo,hamara matter nahi hai'. that hustle at the very first day, you can imagine what coming next
2. early check-in is chargeable irrespective of rooms available or not. i saw rooms were available but we were charged and that too u have to pay instant.
3. now after such experience you must be thinking these guys are arrogant, must be because of rooms, rooms must of top quality. imagine what, it was exact opposite. rooms were dirty, stinking, bed sheets colour was pale yellow and cigarette buds lying here and there.
4. important point: this hotel specifically was not apt for family. i have seen so many couples checking in. i understand also mentioned couple friendly but with family i didn't feel comfortable.
5. only thing good was...they were prompt in responding back to queries like they were bring tea, water with no big delays.
6. also hotel is situated at nearby location to station but not as per mentioned address. address is wrong. it's 3.5 kms from station.coteect address hai, jogniya mata temple,magdalla road, udana neher, above mahindra showroom.

Food was excellent and their managers in restaurant were very helpful. due to fast, my wife wanted some different fruits , which were not on table. same was provided promptly without any extra charge. good variety of breads were available for vegetarians also, which was helpful as some of our family members are strictly vegetarian
