Visited Taj Hotel, Jammu to try their Kashmiri cuisine and it was a wonderful experience. The food was authentic, rich in flavours, and beautifully prepared. Out of all the dishes, the Gushtaba was absolutely outstanding and clearly the highlight of the meal. The overall dining experience was excellent, with great quality and taste. Definitely recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy authentic Kashmiri cuisine.

I recently stayed at Hotel Taj in Jammu for 20 days, and throughout my stay, I genuinely felt a homely and comfortable atmosphere. Among hotels in its category across Jammu, this one truly stands apart for its service, warmth, and overall hospitality. From the very first day, the staff greeted me with genuine courtesy and professionalism. The Manager and Reception team were extremely cordial, always attentive and ready to help with anything I needed. Their welcoming nature made the long stay feel smooth and effortless. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a peaceful environment after a tiring day. The hotel’s location is another major plus the market is nearby, making it convenient for any quick shopping or evening walks. During my entire 20-day stay, I was fully satisfied with the service provided. If I were to suggest one area of improvement, it would be the breakfast menu. Adding more variety and introducing alternate items on alternate days would make the morning experience even better, especially for long-stay guests like me. Overall, my stay was truly pleasant, and I am very happy with the service standards of this hotel in Jammu. I've never stayed at a hotel without my parents before. It's raining in the city and I had no other place to stay. This hotel was like a haven, a safe place. I was easily able to check in, order room service. The room I stayed in was nice, clean, organised, and it has an attached bathroom. Overall, the experience was really good. The staff is really good. They saw that I was a bit hesitant and they tried their best to assist me. They took care of everything for me. I'm in a quiet room, it's spacious and has everything I could possibly need. There's a restaurant where we can eat or order room service. Brilliant hotel!!

Very good place which serves good food ….and the staff is really great ,I accidentally left behind a ring that was very precious to me. When I called the hotel after realizing it, the staff immediately searched for it and found it. They were honest, prompt, and extremely helpful throughout the process.

Service of the staff was just exceptional - from the manager to the restaurant staff to the reception, everyone went out of their way to be helpful and attentive. Small gestures such as helping with calling a Doctor, or checking on needs of our children showed a genuine interest from the staff in being helpful. For example, the food had not been prepared as expected and the staff immediately replaced the item with an alternate without anything.

Such Disappointing Experience I reached the Hotel and then in the lobby i came to know restaurant is not available and Room service was also denied.The staff is unprofessional , We immediately left the hotel asking for refund and Called MMT for confirmation on refund which the hotel was refusing for one hour they wasted our time until they sent mail to mmt then after taking all confirmations mmt we left the hotel I came to know the Hotel had been lying to mmt about us staying at there place and they offer us Breakfast we left the Hotel without checking in This shows the level of Disrespect and Disregard for the customer and what kind of hotel management there is. Such a Bad Experience.

Once we reached the Hotel tired and Hungry from all long the travel , The Restaurant Was intentionally closed during the day without prior notice and was not mentioned on the website .The rooms were average not 3 star at all. Room Service was Denied as well after half an hour of placing the order. The Staff was disoriented and confused poorly trained. I Immediately Cancelled the booking on spot. The staff was very unprofessional and not cooperating with refund until pressed hard. They Wasted 2 hours before cancelling the booking . Never going back again.A Very Nerve Wrecking Experience after a long Journey highly Disappointed. Zero is no option so 1 star.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I had paid an advance to secure a room for my Guest, but upon arrival he was informed that no room was available for him . This is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the management and booking system of the hotel. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue, the staff was unhelpful and offered no alternative solution or compensation for the inconvenience caused. My Guest was left stranded without any assistance. This lack of professionalism and accountability has left me with a terrible impression. I would not recommend this hotel..

It is the worst hotel so far,I made a booking from the mmt and it was clearly mentioned that unmarried couples are allowed so we came to the hotel and told them to show the room,they showed us the room and we liked it and then i told them that i already have the booking and already paid and then he was like oh you have to go downstairs and then said we don't allow unmarried couples as it is against our hotels norm after really showing us the room because they were asking for double amount of money as mentioned in the app,worst experience never book it online

Terrible Experience - Avoid This Hotel! Booked in advance, paid upfront, and upon arrival, they denied check-in without any valid reason. Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful treatment. No communication, no apology — just left us stranded. Save yourself the hassle and choose a place that values its customers. 1 star because zero isn’t an option.
