Chennai International Airport and Avadi are 21.3 km apart by road, and you can easily travel between the two via taxis and buses. Avadi has its own railway station on the Chennai Suburban Railway Network, and just beyond the railhead is Avadi Bus Terminal. Avadi Railway Station has regular services to and from Chennai Central Railway Station, which is 22 km away from the locality by road. Avadi can also be reached via National Highway 716 and Tamil Nadu State Highway 55.
