About George Town, Chennai 

Located near the iconic Fort St George, George Town is known to be the primary neighbourhood of the erstwhile city of Madras. The area marks the birthplace of the city’s economy and served as its chief commercial hub until the 1960s.     "Customer care promised for early checkin but even though we have paid the early checkin , double bed room has been provided for temporary basis and later it was upgraded to 3 guest room and AC room was not good and hence we have opted for a non ac rok"

    "The best thing was that the boys who are cleaning the place and the manager were very friendly and helpful. The place was so far clean. The room was more than basic. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Only one torn towel for a double room. No toilet paper, one mini soap. Water bottle had to be paid. Breakfast was not available. Wifi in the room didn't work. AC was working fine. The hotel certainly doesn't deserve three stars. If at all two or even one star would be adequate. It is a low budget hotel and the advertisement is far beyond the reality. Around the corner was a tiny coffee and tea shop and a small grocery store and a pharmacy. The coffee was very good, the grape juice in the grocery store was also good. Three hundred meters is a small supermarket where one can get almost everything. About 800 m there is a Palava bhavan where one can get a great South Indian breakfast."

    "Initially we were asked to go to a different property because the room category that we booked was occupied (despite paying the amount in advance). When we denied the other property then they gave us a inferior room in same property and next day they gave us a different room. The room has electricity problem and it took around 45 mins to fix that. The room was better than previous one. The staff was helpful though but not much services in the hotel. Overall, I would not want to stay again as I did not give a pleasant feeling. I would prefer somewhat better property."

The rooms were available my booking was confirmed still they didn't allowed me to check in as they wanted a higher price from the rate I had booked. Finally post having mutiple calls with fab customer care the issue was sorted but had a very bad customer experience"

    "Rooms were okay but the service is generally poor. I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and the room was not cleaned in between. No nearby hotels as well. You have to walk for around 1 km to have food, though online deliveries are quick. The support staff doesnt bother to help. I asked for a help with cab booking as I had to go to Embassy and didn't had any cell phone with me but the support staff dint bother."
