"I recently stayed at Shane Villa Residency for three nights, and it was a fantastic experience! The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location is a major plus – it's within walking distance of the town center, making it very convenient. For anyone traveling from Dharamshala to McLeodganj, the hotel is ideally situated right on the way, just about 3 km out. One of the highlights was the mesmerizing view from the hotel rooftop. Since it’s east-facing, you get to witness a beautiful sunrise each morning – a perfect way to start the day! The staff was welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. I’d highly recommend Shane Residency for anyone looking for a cozy, convenient, and scenic place to stay!"

"Just finished a stay with them. Rooms are very untidy, no room cleaning during my two days of stay. Most lights in my room and toilet were not working. Broken toilet sink, damp walls, dirty toilet floor were disappointing. Not value for money at all and hardly a two star category. Only thing good was the quality and freshness of the food, but there again very limited option for breakfast. And it was so disappointing that there are no lift, so I had to climb stairs to second floor every time I went out, for dinner, for breakfast, etc. The rooms in the front offer wonderful views of the majestic Dhauladar range."

We arrived earlier than expected by a few hours and our room was prioritised in terms and we were able to check in early free of charge. "Rooms were a good size and nicely furnished. It was very quiet, barely any noise from outside except for the occasional wedding nearby. The bed was excellent quality, I slept well the whole trip. Also as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable."
