Rooms were not clean even washroom was not cleaned… even getting shock from water after turning on water heater .. lifts were not working .. according to the booking tv should be there but it wasn’t

I don't want to give even one star, it was a nightmare staying at this hotel. i stayed here on 23rd - 25th august 2024. my worst decision that i trusted fab hotels. i was travelling solo to delhi for the 1st time and booked this hotel last minute as it was near to my work location. i was very tired when i reached the hotel and disappointed when i reached the hotel. i have never lived in such a dirty hotel. i have been travelling solo for 3 years now and never in my life i have seen paan spitted on the walls of the hotel. the linen was stained, not washed. the the floor was very dirty. i couldn't sit in such a dirty room but since i was alone and i had nowhere to go. i went to the reception and asked him to give me 2 clean bedsheets, he assigned a staff to clean the room. but the staff offered me another room and promised to clean it for me. i waited patiently in this dirty room for an hour. the other room was even more disappointing, when i saw the room from the door it looked clean but the moment i removed the blanket, it was same as the previous room. it was dirty, spotted everywhere. the pillows were extremely thirty, there was spitting in this room too. the bathroom didn't have geyser, when asked they said the previous room had it but you had an issue with that room, now guests have come in that room so we can't do anything about it. the bathroom fittings we're plastic and thirty, the comode wasn't cleaned. the floor was mopped but it was so muddy that even after it dried my legs turned black. i had to wear my sandals throughout in the room. the bathroom door mat too was dirty, full of dirt. the room felt like a dirty railway station. the bathroom corners too had paan stains. i even saw a rat in my room. when i asked him for a clean towel. he got me a neatly folded towel, which was a dirty and torn towel. this is so far the 1st day. 2nd day was the worst nightmare of my life. in the morning i called reception from my mobile since the telephone in the room is just a show piece. i asked for 2 water bottles but only 1 was sent. after i came from work at 7pm i asked the reception to give me a packaged bottle of normal water. he said only cold water is there and you won't get normal water now. this was frustrating. i angrily paced to the lift, but the lift didn't work, when asked the staff said it's not working today. i was staying on the 2nd floor. at night when i was up late, i heard their staff banging the other room doors, singing, being very noisy, dragging laundry. i was okay until at 12:30 am he tried opening my door. this hotel doesn't even have a latch inside other than the main lock. i was scared but stayed quiet. i carried the table to the door very silently, and put my shoulder bag under the latch. i was so frightened, i couldn't sleep. at 2:30 am he tried opening my door again, this time he struggled even more almost thrice, he surely felt the hurdle. i stayed prepared with my pepper spray and scissors. i also kept the nearest police station number ready. after this i kept a bottle and the remote on the handle, incase he tries again i would know. but it didn't happen again. i quickly checked out the next day. the lobby area was full of men. i checked out quickly without complaining because i had taken all the pictures and i wanted to leave from this place safely. i'm never going to trust fab hotels again. i have booked stay with fab hotels before and i've had the best experience but this was the worst. fab hotels should de-list it. at night there's absolutely no guests staying at this hotel. i have only seen couples here, they do their business and leave. i was so traumatized by this incident that i couldn't get myself to write this review for days. i didn't want to rewind and think of this nightmare. but i'm sharing so that you shouldn't get carried away by the pictures of the hotel like i did.

Rooms were really really bad. no soap in the washroom. no electricity in the washroom. only one light was lighting in the room. in the night the room became more like a chandani bar. no towels were provided, there no telephone in the room to contact reception. water bottle was not provided either. tv was not working at all. fixed setting for ac , we couldnt raise the temperature , neither we could bring it down. all in all there was nothing good about the property, rooms or services.

Rooms were a good size and nicely furnished. it was very quiet, barely any noise from outside except for the occasional wedding nearby. the bed was excellent quality, i slept well the whole trip. also as a solo female traveler, i felt very safe and comfortable.

Food was excellent and their managers in restaurant were very helpful. due to fast, my wife wanted some different fruits , which were not on table. same was provided promptly without any extra charge. good variety of breads were available for vegetarians also, which was helpful as some of our family members are strictly vegetarian

The room was always absolutely clean, and the housekeeping staff was always smiling and always kind when coming to my room. staff at the reception was kind and really helpful. they were able to solve all our problems, from ordering a pizza until booking airplane tickets. the hotel also offer a good service in its travel desk.
