About Ashwem Beach
Ashwem Beach is a clean and relatively less-crowded locality in North Goa. Replete with swaying palm trees, this beautiful beach locality is ideal for a peaceful holiday with loved ones where can be enjoyed swimming, sunbathing as well as nature walks through verdant forests. The cherry on the cake is the noise curfew after sunset due to which the only sound audible to anyone is of splashing waves of the Arabian Sea.
Shopping and Dining in Ashwem Beach
A delight for shopping enthusiasts and explorers, Goa is a land of traditional markets and curio shacks that sell everything from beachwear, funky clothes and junk jewelry to bags, handicrafts, antiques, etc. Ashwem Beach though is a less commercial locality and has a limited number of shopping options. However, tourists can find a lot of designer accessories stores and boutiques near Ashwem Beach. The nearest shopping place to it is Laxmi Mini Market, which is just 1.8 km away. For a truly Goan shopping experience, vacationers can head to Anjuna Flea Market and Saturday Night Market in Arpora that are less than 16 km away from Ashwem Beach.
While here, travelers can relish authentic regional preparations like pork vindaloo, mussels rava fry, chicken cafreal and fonna kadi. There are many notable restaurants and cafes in the Ashwem Beach locality that offer these and many more seafood delicacies in an inviting ambience. Green Apple, The Long Bay and Nanu's Restaurant are some of the most preferred restaurants which must be explored on a trip to Ashwem Beach. Further, tourists can find a few international restaurants as well that serve everything from French preparations to typical Indian curries.
Attractions in and around Ashwem Beach
Just like the rest of Goa, Ashwem Beach is also synonymous with swimming, sunbathing, surfing, shacks, kaju feni, and the likes. The popular attractions in and around this serene locality are Mandrem Beach, Arambol Beach, Bhumika Devi Temple, Morjai Temple, Morjim Beach and Baga Beach. All these local places of interest are within 10 minutes’ drive from most of the hotels in Ashwem Beach. Tourists can further reserve a day to explore the nearby villages that aptly exemplify traditional Goan charm with the expanse of coconut groves and cultivated fields. For more fun, head to Arambol Beach and partake in the various festivities organized at bars and clubs. The widely popular Vagator Beach, Chapora Fort, Anjuna Beach and Saturday Night Market are within 30 minutes’ drive from Ashwem Beach.
How to reach Ashwem Beach
Goa International Airport is the only airport serving the state. Hosting frequent domestic and international flights every day, it is around 52 km from Ashwem Beach. The nearest railhead to Ashwem Beach is Thivim Railway Station (22 km). Visitors can conveniently reach Ashwem Beach locality by booking an online cab or hiring a prepaid taxi. Further, the best way to explore Goa is by renting a bicycle or scooter.

Awesome experience. So supportive staff. If you are looking for complete hotel experience then it is not the place. You have to call them manually(no phones in rooms) Parking needs to be improved.
FabHotel Morjim Bliss
On my last visit to Goa with my Girlfriend, we stayed in Morjim Bliss. It was a 4days trip where we got out room with pool facing. Check-in to Check-out was a smooth process with zero wait time. Room service was good, manager was friendly and helpful. They guided us on how we should start exploring and must visit places. They also arranged cab service at good price. Overall I had a overwhelming stay.
FabHotel Morjim Bliss
Very friendly staff esp at checkin & restaurant. Could not have been more helpful. Excellent rooms which were very spacious. Great housekeeping. Outstanding in all respects. quiet retreat away from the hustle & Bustle of city.
FabHotel Morjim Bliss
The room was always absolutely clean, and the housekeeping staff was always smiling and always kind when coming to my room. Staff at the reception was kind and really helpful. They were able to solve all our problems, from ordering a pizza until booking airplane tickets. The hotel also offer a good service in its travel desk.
FabHotel Morjim Bliss
Very comfortable bed. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Nice designs and architecture. Staff is there when you need them. Cleanliness could be improved especially with bed linens, bathroom walls, etc. Noise in the night due to animals running on the roof but very agreable stay overall. We came for goa sunsplash and it was just 10 min walking from it or the beach.
FabHotel Morjim Bliss
Poor service, dirty pillows and bedshits, no curtains in bathrooms, no lock device in bathroom, water availability is limited, no canteen. Good for stay with limited facilities
FabHotel Morjim Bliss
No almirah, pathetic rooms, no hot water, quite a sick place. The room rules are stuck upside down behind the door. That's the standard
FabHotel Morjim Bliss
The owner of the property cancelled our booking once we reached the place and asked us to leave for no reason. Very rude owner and staff. He cancelled our booking and told us he is getting better rates than what we locked it for. How can anyone cancel the booking without any reason. It must also be noted that we are Legal Counsels and we have decided to initiate a consumer case against the owner and booking.com! Honest reviews must be known to the customers so that they do not book below average properties. If this remains the attitude of the local Goans, definitely they are going to be broke in the next few coming months. No wonder people are choosing other destinations over Goa. This was by far the worst experience ever and everyone must know that. P.S- We will be initiating strict action against the owner of this hopeless property!
FabHotel Morjim Bliss
The hotel owner forced me to stay outside and didn't allow to check-in, fab hotel customer service was worst on this issue too
FabHotel Morjim Bliss
Worst place to stay. Absolute waste of money. Would never recommend anyone. Very non-cooperative staffs with rude behaviour. Worthless breakfast provided and that too after demanding about the complimentary provision. No toiletries provided. No coffee or tea pouches provided. No phone available in room. Room locks are damaged. Television not working. Swimming pool with dirty water. No room cleaning done. Check in denied by the hotel management saying that the they don't agree with what Fab has quoted about the tariff. Only 1litre water provided for two persons. And no more water provided even after paying. Very poor and congested parking space, your vehicle will surely get damaged during parking if you are not a perfect driver. I request the FAB management to please blacklist this property as it is spoiling your image. I have stayed in other FAB hotels earlier but never had such a third class experience.
