Good place to stay away from the ever hassling new market or marquise street. though both are nearly 20 minutes of moderate speedway far from this hotel. the staff are helpful. one of the cons is that they lack a few commodities like sandals, hand wash, tooth brush or pest etc. recommended!

Bed sheets were not clean and were torn,rooms had multiple cockroaches, our room was changed based on images provided, same issue faced with other rooms. we had book the hotel for 7 nights but had to vacate in 4 days due to health hazard and as no proper resolution. hotel staff not cooperative.we are still awaiting response from hotel as they have not issued refund for 3 days we did not stay at the hotel.i was with my senior citizen parents and the trip is spoiled.

Nice place, good service with full hygiene well maintained property and specious room food like home and you must go for ginger elaichi tea it will make your day ...i mostly recommend this hotel at kolkata.

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at hotel kzar. the night staff were extremely rude when i complained about the bedsheets in our room being stained. instead of addressing the issue, they told me that the bedsheets would not be changed and that i would have to adjust. when i mentioned that i would file a complaint, the staff responded rudely, saying i could go ahead but they still wouldn’t change the bedsheets. additionally, the hotel is located in an area prone to severe waterlogging during the rainy season, making it almost impossible to get a taxi to the hotel. the water reached up to knee level, and we had to pay extra to taxi drivers just to reach the hotel. when i asked the hotel receptionist to arrange a cab for us, even offering to pay, he refused, saying it was not part of his service. overall, i am very disappointed with the service and conditions at this hotel. i would not recommend staying here, especially during rainy season.
