The Pavilion is truly an excellent hotel. It's located in a posh area of ​​Kolkata and is approximately five kilometers from the airport. I would like to commend the staff for their extremely helpful attitude. Their room service is excellent. The rooms are a bit small but well-maintained. The hotel allows outside food and provides plates and cutlery in the rooms. I would especially like to praise the owner of the property, who creates a very homely atmosphere at the hotel. He is a very cheerful and jovial Punjabi-speaking gentleman. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again during my future visits to Kolkata. I would give it a five-star rating.

Had an excellent stay at this property during my Kolkata trip. The property is perfectly located with easy access to key areas, making it ideal for both leisure & Business travel. The food was extremely delicious, hygienic, and well-presented, Breakfast was especially impressive, with fresh and well-prepared dishes. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and equipped with modern amenities, while the overall facilities were well-maintained. Safety and cleanliness standards were top-notch, and the staff was courteous, professional, and truly hospitable. Highly recommended for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Room was small but okayish, however washroom was inpoor condition.

Breakfast was included in my booking. Hotel staffs don't know. Infact 9 AM breakfast not unable to possible as stated by the staffs and so many requests provided break fast at 9 AM. Thanks for that.

We had a pathetic experience dealing with the owner of this hotel. After inquiring about a bulk booking of 10 rooms, the owner quoted us ₹2,600 per room. However, we found the same rooms online for only ₹1,700. When we pointed out the price difference, the owner told us to "just book it online." We did so, but he then pressured us to cancel our official online booking and pay him the full amount in cash without a receipt. To make matters worse, he made several rude comments regarding our budget. We ultimately cancelled everything and left. Avoid this place if you value professional service and transparency

Most horrible experience. Room was not cleaned for a month as per staff as no one was booking. Room had bugs, mosquitos and lizards, we were really forced to stay cause we had no other options. But we couldn't sleep all night due to constant dust and insects.

I booked this hotel through Agoda and checked in late at midnight, which was supposed to be the 17th day of the local time. However, I checked in at 1:20 am on the 18th morning. During check-in, the hotel reception asked for an additional payment of nearly 1500 INR. They informed me that the amount displayed in the Agoda app was incorrect and that I should pay the extra amount. I politely declined this request, stating that it was not my responsibility. I planned to contact Agoda customer care the following morning if they recommended any action. If they did not, I would have to leave the hotel. Upon entering my room, I was shocked to discover that the hotel’s ambiance, as depicted in the pictures posted online, was vastly different from what we experienced during our visit. The bedsheets and pillows were stained, and the bathroom was uncleaned, with a strong odor both inside and outside the corridor. The entire hotel was in a state of disrepair, and I did not recommend anyone to stay there. I gave it a zero rating. My advice is to refrain from believing the hotel’s pictures, as they often do not accurately represent the actual experience.
