Loved ambience and its walking distance 300 m from great Mood box pub. Staff behaviour is like family.

Stayed here with my mother from 11th to 13th July 2025. With the existing crisis in Kolkata with safety and good family hotels, this one is a knight in shining armour. The experience was amazing and the staff, food, and reception of guests is admirable! Good to say that there is an economy hotel with safety and convenience in a shady place like Kolkata. Hope it stays that way! 5 stars!

I stayed in Room no 302...but whn was using the toilet hand shower the water leaked back instead of from the jet wetting me..also saw few butts of bidi s on the soap holder,toilet door ws also broken because of which the door lock was not locking.. tv was only net based

The location is good, value for money ofcourse, but I had a little bad experience with the broken window of the particular room that I got, allowing mosquitoes to come inside. The staff are very helpful though.

Room quality & accommodation did not matching without webportal photograph.

They charge an additional 555 upon arrival, even though the app shows a price of 945. The hotel claims that the app couldnt display the coupon, which is supposed to reflect the 945 price. This means I have to pay an extra 555, bringing the total to 1500. Is this some kind of joke? I need this to be checked; otherwise, it will feel like harassment.

The room which was provided to me was 70 sqft . However when I was booking the room it said 150 sq ft. Misleading description of room was provided. The room is dirty and condom packets are thrown here and there.My breakfast was provided (terrible quality food) after I called them atleast 5 times. I had a terrible here and will definitely not prefer any cheap fab hotels in future. I complained to MMT also .they were also of not much help. Uninstalling MMT as well and sharing this review on public platforms so that other people won't have to experience such a terrible stay.

I booked a deluxe room at this hotel on September 9th through the Fabhotels application, paying in advance. However, upon arrival, the room was completely different from the one showcased in the app. To make matters worse, the AC was not functioning, leaving us to sweat it out in the sweltering heat. The bathroom door didn't even have a lock, which was unsettling. Even the cleanliness was not up to the mark, with noticeable dirt and dust in the room. When we brought these issues to the hotel attendant's attention, they shifted the blame to Fabhotels, claiming that the app's photos were not representative of the actual room. Essentially, they admitted that Fabhotels was misleading customers. This experience was a complete disaster for my family and me. We wasted our money and time in a subpar room. I demand a refund, at the very least a partial one (50%).

Avoid this property at all costs. The swimming pool was filthy, and the broken railing to get in and out made it life-threatening—I could have had a serious accident. They shamelessly overcharge for everything: ₹40 for room service that was never provided, and charges for mineral water bottles I never even used. There was no TV in my room, and the bathroom was in disgusting condition, worse than a railway retiring room. This place is unsafe, unhygienic, and a complete scam. They mislead customers with false promises and then exploit them with hidden charges. Do not risk your money or safety here. I will also be reporting this to consumer authorities for action against such fraudulent practices.
