The southernmost ghat and one of the biggest in Varanasi, Assi Ghat is visited by locals and tourists alike for the mornings here are peaceful and evenings lively. There are many activities for visitors to engage in at the site from yoga and boat rides to daily talent shows organised in the evening.
During the auspicious months of Magh (Jan-Feb) and Chaitya (Mar-Apr) and other significant events like Makar Sankranti, Shivratri and solar/lunar eclipse, Hindu pilgrims gather here to take a holy dip. Even on a typical day, Assi Ghat makes for one of the most popular places to visit in Varanasi.
Owing to the significance and popularity of Assi Ghat, quite a few hotels have come up in its vicinity. Ranging from premium to budget, these hotels near Assi Ghat, Varanasi offer easy access to major tourist places, many good restaurants and cafes and the renowned Banaras Hindu University.
Popular shopping options in Assi Ghat area include emporiums, shopping complexes and standalone stores like Prakash Mega Mart (900 m), Planet Fashion (1 km) and Jalans Kabira Complex (1.2 km). In addition, IP Vijaya Mall, located 1.6 km away, is a preferred place nearby to shop for branded goods. Within 3.5 km are Thatheri Bazar and Vishwanath Gali that can be visited for street shopping.

Great accommodation services. Location is also good. You can reach most of popular ghats and temples through this hotel.
Perfect location, walking distance from Temple and ghat . Perfect value of money rooms and nearby mall ,restaurants… Perfect service…friendly people
The property is more like a homestay with around six rooms. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The location is good and feels like a home away from home. The lady managing the place is polite and well-behaved. However, during my two-day stay, I faced some issues. The water pressure from the tap was very low, and when the cap was removed, sand particles were coming out with the water. The washroom flush was also not working properly and needs a complete check by a plumber. The geyser was working fine. I would also suggest exploring breakfast options outside in Varanasi, as the local breakfast spots are really awesome. Overall, the stay was decent because of the location and hospitality, but maintenance improvements are needed.
Overall good experience so far, Hotel is in the prime location near DLW and BHU. Staffs are helpful and polite.
Good budget friendly hotel. Small rooms but comfortable for sleeping. Good hot water supply.
We have stayed 2 days Pros- Only location Cons- no lift facility. Room provided on third floor and they don't have even lift it's very difficult for senior citizens. Somehow staff is rude specially receptionist l. They are charging 2.5% extra for credit card bokking even below 2000. This is not expected from fab hotel chain. The room has a lot of sepage with black fungus harmful for child and senior citizen having low immunity. Quality of Infra is also not as expected from fab hotel.
Fab ,cheated me ,they final the deal in 3700 ,and later on they charge me over 3900 ,they service charges after gst ,this is totally fraud ,
Online pics & real hotel rooms are different Rooms & toilets are smelly Early checkin allowed mostly Bedsheets are dirty & not replaced daily/regularly. Prices are high & it's not a fab brand hotel it seems. Avoid it for sure.
I had a poor experience at this hotel. Despite paying an advance, I received calls asking for full payment before check-in, which is not as per policy. The room quality was unsatisfactory; the TV was not working. I was given a 3rd-floor room even though the lift was unreliable, the lift controls on the 3rd floor were not working (had to come to the 2nd floor to use it), and at times the lift stopped working completely. I was also asked for an early check-out, which is not ethically correct. Though room service was mentioned, tea could not be provided as the restaurant was under maintenance. Overall, the promised facilities were not delivered.
Extremely unprofessional and unsafe service. I handed over my bike keys at the counter, but the staff misused the keys, drove the vehicle without authorization, and eventually lost the car key. This is a serious breach of trust and safety norms. Such negligence shows complete lack of accountability and professionalism. Handling a customer’s vehicle in this manner is legally and ethically unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place if they value their vehicle and safety.
