By taxis or cabs, it takes up to 50 minutes to cover the distance of 21.8 km between the neighbourhood and Chennai International Airport. Besides, Chennai Central or Puratchi Thalaivar Dr M.G. Ramachandran Central Railway Station is farther north and can be reached in around 1.5 hours from hotels in Mambakkam (35 km away).
