How to Reach Taj Mahal
The city of Agra is quite well-connected to other parts of India by bus, train and air service; however, Agra Airport (13 km) currently operates limited flights only. A better option is to take a train to Agra Fort (4.3 km) or Agra Cantt. (6.3 km) railway station and from thereon, continue the journey in taxis, auto rickshaws or cycle rickshaws. Those who prefer to travel by road can either take a bus to Idgah Bus Stand, which is within 5 km of hotels in Taj Mahal area or take a direct cab to the city.
