How to Reach Calangute Beach
Tourists can hire a cab from Goa International Airport in Dabolim to reach Calangute Beach (40.3 km) within 1 hour and 10 minutes. Thivim, one of the main railway stations in North Goa, is around 19.7 km away from Calangute Beach, which can be reached in up to 40-45 minutes by cab. The other major junction – Vasco da Gama – is 41.4 km away and takes nearly 1 hour 20 minutes to reach the beach by taxi. Moreover, tourists can travel around this place in buses, auto-rickshaws and cabs. They can also rent out a motorbike or hire a motor-taxi to travel within the region, wherein the latter is for a single pillion rider who is driven around by a driver – locally called the pilot.
