About Fort Aguada, Goa
Boasting of a legacy of more than four centuries, Fort Aguada is an impressive reminiscent of the reign of Portuguese in India. Overlooking the confluence of the vast Arabian Sea and Mandovi River, the hilltop fort is counted among the handful of forts in the country that has never been subjugated by an enemy. Although there are many things to see in this 17th-century citadel like the water reservoir, prison and ammunition room, the highlight remains the lighthouse that provides a bird’s-eye view of the entire area of Candolim. Apart from Fort Aguada, this locality in North Goa is home to many other attractions, restaurants, shops, as well as luxury and budget hotels in Goa.

Overall, a good value-for-money stay. Considering the price, this is a decent place in a convenient location in Candolim. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is polite and helpful, which really adds to the experience. That said, the property has the potential to be much better. The entrance and gate area need improvement, as it doesn’t give the best first impression. Also, providing basic amenities like toothpaste and at least one complimentary water bottle would go a long way in improving guest comfort. I’m giving this place a 4-star rating to encourage the team to make these small improvements, as it truly has the potential to become a great stay.

FabHotel Prime Infantaria Comfort With Pool, Calangute Beach
Do not book this hotel. I booked and paid in full through an online platform, but upon arrival, the staff refused to honor the reservation, claiming they 'don't do online check-ins.' This is a blatant lie as they are actively listed and accepting payments online. To make matters worse, the staff was incredibly rude and aggressive when I showed them my receipt. I was left stranded without a room despite having paid. They are essentially stealing money from travelers. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to lose your money and be insulted by the staff."

Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. We reached very late at night, and the staff took advantage of this situation by charging ₹5,500 in cash, which was much higher than expected and not justified for the facilities provided. The room conditions were extremely poor. There was no proper ventilation, the atmosphere was very dull, and the air conditioner was not working properly. Because of these issues, the stay was very uncomfortable and not at all worth the amount charged. Due to this unpleasant experience, we were forced to check out one day earlier than planned. This kind of service and overcharging is unacceptable. I request you to look into this matter seriously and take appropriate action. Regards, Bhagyashree Jadhav
