FabHotel Meridian Inn
Stayed here for a night, and the experience was quite disappointing. The location is poor, it doesn’t even feel like a hotel until you step inside. While the rooms were clean and fairly well maintained, the service left a lot to be desired. The landline didn’t work, and the staff came across as quite unprofessional. To make things worse, we couldn’t sleep properly due to constant noise throughout the night. The guests in the adjacent room were extremely loud-shouting, slamming doors, and creating a ruckus. There was no check or control from the hotel staff on this behavior, which added to the overall unpleasant experience. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and professional stay.
FabHotel Meridian Inn
Overall this trip was okay but Fab hotel you need to watch out your rooms. The room was smelling also bad. There was a dirty towel handed to us and then they provided another one but of no use. NO HAND TOWEL.

The Worst Hotel Experience I’ve Ever Had – Avoid at All Costs I've been using Booking.com for almost a decade to find hotels. Until now, I have never written a negative review. As a business owner myself, I know how damaging a bad review can be. But what happened to me at HOTEL AMBASSADOR SUKHNA LAKE CHANDIGARH was outrageous, and people deserve to know the truth. A few days ago, I booked three nights at this hotel in Chandigarh. Let’s start with the location: the hotel sits on a loud, chaotic street that feels more like a filthy alley in Old Delhi than a peaceful getaway. When we arrived, before we were even shown the room, the owner demanded full payment in advance. This has never happened to me in any Indian hotel before. I insisted on seeing the room first. The room was on the 4th floor with no elevator. The hallway stank of cigarettes. The room itself? A complete scam: The room I booked was listed as 17 square meters – the one I got was barely 11. The listing claimed a lake view. That’s a lie. There is no lake view from anywhere in the hotel – only a view of the noisy, grimy street. The bed was described as a Large Double Bed. In reality, it was 140 cm wide – a standard, small double at best. As if that wasn’t enough, the room’s window was made of cheap, paper-thin glass. In cities like Delhi or Mumbai, even budget hotels use thick glass to block street noise. Here, we could hear every horn, every shout, every machine from the workshops outside. It was impossible to rest. While I stood there, visibly unhappy, the hotel manager threatened that he would charge my card through the site if I didn’t pay in cash immediately. I panicked and paid him – a huge mistake. We sat in the room for ten minutes trying to figure out what to do. It was unbearable. Instead of a peaceful lakeview hotel, we were trapped in a noisy dump. I went back downstairs and asked to cancel the reservation. The manager refused, saying it was “already submitted to the system.” I called Booking.com customer service, waited 20 minutes, finally got a rep, explained everything. She spoke to the manager – who flat-out refused to issue a refund. Her only offer was a 10% refund if I could somehow prove the room didn't match the description. Eventually, we threatened to call the police if he didn’t refund the money. Under pressure, he agreed to refund just one night out of three. We had little cash left, so we took the partial refund and left. This was the most disgusting hotel experience I’ve ever had. But beyond that, I want people to know: Booking.com charges hefty fees but does nothing to protect you when shady hotels cheat their guests. This platform failed me completely, and I will never use it again. I will also make it my mission to spread the word that Booking.com is unreliable and unprofessional.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. I had already made an online payment through the official Fab Hotels website before arriving, but the receptionist, Parveen Kumar, refused to acknowledge the booking and demanded a higher cash payment instead. This amount was significantly more than what I had paid online, and I have not received any refund for the original transaction. On top of that, the rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, which made the stay even worse. I strongly advise others not to visit this hotel, and I would like to file a formal complaint regarding this unacceptable behavior and service.
FabHotel HC Mohali Inn
Staff behaviour is too bad..! I recently stayed at Hotel HC Mohali Inn for a family trip, and it was a terrible experience. The accessibility was poor, making it hard to reach the hotel. The food was sub-standard, lacking flavor and quality. Additionally, the hotel is poorly connected to nearby attractions, making our stay even more frustrating. I booked online expecting better but left disappointed. I cannot recommend this hotel for leisure stays!
FabHotel Diamond
I booked rooms for 7(seven) day wef from 24/1/25 to 30/1/25 night by depositing Rs 4,000/- in advance although it was mention in the ad that 'no booking fees will be charged'. In reality this hotel name was not in the locality but I have been offered one hotel with very non-spacious rooms which is not similar with the pictures shown in the ad. I have been offered another hotel named 'Arjun Hotel Diamond' which the Uber, Ola and Taxi Drivers were not known the location. Secondly, the receiptionist cannot speak or understand English and this is a very big problem. At the time of checking out the room rent was served to me and no adjustment for the advanced payment can be done and this is what the receiptionist answer my question about the adjustment of the advance payment-"talk to the company, we cannot do anything from this hotel" he said, oooooh where did the advanced payment fly away? Thirdly, the walls and floor of the rooms which we were occupying for the two nights were so dusty and finally I have decided to shortened my booking period and shifted to another hotel which was clean, cozy, spacious and good service rendered to us. This Hotel was located in the area where there is a place for dumping of domestic wastes which were the feeding point for stray dogs and cows and I WILL NEVER EVER WILL ACCOMODATE AGAIN.
