i travelled from bangalore to mumbai and arrived at the hotel around 11 pm.
after confirming my personal details, i was provided a room which was basically windowless (had a window facing the aisle and not outside) and not as per what was shown to me on booking.com through which i had made the booking.
i had booked a duplex suite and the pictures shown on booking.com were different from the one i was given. when i said this is what i was not offered then i was provided another room which had a double and a single bed. i was told that this is a temporary accommodation and that i would be shifted to a smaller one the next day.
when i entered the room, i went to the toilet first and found that it was smelling of urine. the toilet seat had stains on them and the floor of the toilet was sticky.
when i called reception they sent a person to clean the same. though the seat was cleaned, the floor was not and it was still sticky with the smell of urine still lingering on. i then had to call the receptionist to have some spray used to mask the smell. also there was no toilet paper and drinking water kept in the room. so again a call to the reception to have the same provided.
i had a bad night as these thoughts were coming into my mind regarding the unhygienic conditions resulting in improper sleep.
i then decided that i would vacate the next day as this was very unpleasant experience and felt disgusted.
day 2
the next day morning i told the receptionist that i would like to vacate the room because of the bad experience i have faced but was told that since i have booked for 2 days i would need to pay fully for it. when i said that i was vacating because of the experience i have had, i was told to call the customer care.
i called customer care and narrated my experience. they assured me that a proper room would be provided and requested me to stay back.
i felt convinced as their reply sounded very genuine. eˆ‡ nothing. very bad experience. i have already sent a detailed feedback to the ceo of fabhotels

Here are my booking details.
i would like to provide the feedback about my current room,
1) i have checked in around 8 pm today still then no wifi. when i checked it's mentioned it's not working.. while booking you have mentioned this as the facility and you have charged.
2) room is not cleaned properly. when: pillows are so dirty..bed sheets not good.. attached the sample pic
3) not even provided the drinking water until i have asked.
4) room showed in the net is not even matching with the allocated room.
just want to hope that rest of the stay will be taken care with out any further issues.
