About Satara Road

Satara Road is a major arterial road in Pune which connects the city centre to Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway (NH 48) through Katraj- Dehu Bypass Road (NH 65). At its northern end is Jedhe Chowk in Swargate, which is also the busiest junction on the road because of its heavily-trafficked state transport bus depot – the largest in the city. Towards the south, the road passes through various suburbs and junctions like Bibwewadi, Dhankawadi and Katraj, all the way up to Satara. The thoroughfare is lined with all requisite facilities including restaurants, shops, hospitals, banks, hotels and more to ensure that travellers have a hassle-free experience.
