About Arambol Beach, Goa
The beautiful and serene Arambol Beach is unlike most beaches in North Goa as it is not as crowded or eventful. Situated in a traditional fisherman village, this beach is rather laidback and has a distinct Bohemian feel to it that attracts many international tourists. Its rich live music scene, sunset parties, leisure sports like paragliding and kite surfing, and budget accommodation options further make it a beach of choice for many long-staying travellers in the north. Most of the hotels in Arambol, Goa provide a comfortable stay in clifftop rooms, little huts or at the back of shacks lined along the seafront.
Shopping and Dining around Arambol Beach
During the high season, the streets of Arambol turn into a shopper’s paradise with vendors selling an array of handmade items like leather bags, jewellery, crystals, boho clothing, tapestries, etc. Tourists staying at hotels near Arambol Beach can also find varied shopping options, including general stores and emporiums, along the Querim-Arambol-Agarwada Road.
Arambol is also home to an uninterrupted string of beach shacks, besides restaurants and cafes, for tourists to enjoy an array of sumptuous meals. Some of the most popular dining options in the area are Café Maitree, Laughing Buddha, The Tavern, Gecko, Tamarind Café, Mango Tree, Lazy Dog, This Is It, Olive Garden, Garden of Dreams and Organic Vibes Café.
Places to Visit around Arambol Beach
A short walk towards the north of the beach is Sweetwater Lake, where tourists can enjoy swimming or just chill on the lounge chairs (available on rent). An easy-going trail to the left of the lake leads to a banyan tree, which otherwise remains littered but one can find the ‘Tourist Baba’ here during peak months. There is a stone sculpture adjoining the banyan tree, called the Money Stone, created by an American artist that has become a pilgrimage centre for many alternate travellers. Tourists who wish to enjoy a panoramic view of the beach can take the little trail leading up the Arambol Mountain (1.1 km). Mandrem Beach, located 3 km towards the south and other places to visit in Goa, is also a must-visit near Arambol hotels.
How to Reach Arambol Beach
Hotels near Arambol Beach, Goa are a 2-hour drive from Dabolim Airport and can be easily reached via private cabs or rental cars/bikes/scooters. From Vasco da Gama railway station (61 km), one can rent a vehicle or take a taxi to reach Arambol Beach. Experience was good food was also good

Service of the staff was just exceptional - from the manager to the restaurant staff to the reception, everyone went out of their way to be helpful and attentive. Small gestures such as helping with calling a Doctor, or checking on needs of our children showed a genuine interest from the staff in being helpful. For example, the food had not been prepared as expected and the staff immediately replaced the item with an alternate without anything.

Worst stay ever. Very rude housekeeper, no hot water, AC not working, lights not working, no blackout curtains, no toiletries, bad smell from wardrobe, and extremely cheap uncomfortable mattress. No information about breakfast timing and staff spoke rudely when asked. This hotel is a complete waste of money and does not meet FabHotels standards at all. Avoid this property.

I was not given a room the staff told me that they have allotted the room to a prepaid booking, and I had to wait for 30 minutes, and then return back on my holiday, worst worst worst experience

The staff is irresponsive. We have asked for connecting wifi to invertor and the owner said there is no invertor in the house yet some bulbs still worked without electricity ao apparently he either lied or had no idea what he was talking about or both. The same owner swore that wifi would work 247. We've asked for three weeks, he has either fed us empty promises or ignored and on the 4th week he said "just one week more, why bother?" AC didn't work properly so we requested repairment works after which a worker dared to ask us money. The new AC has been turning off by itself ever since. Electricity outages are frequent, some take more than one hour to be resolved. Internet is slower than a slug. They have taken the motorbike we've rented for a "service" and it took 2-3 days to be "serviced". They have returned the bike with almost zero petrol, the only "service" they have done is that they've cleant it. The only pro is that the sea is quite close to the place

The owner was unresponsive and failed to address our requests. Upon checking into the room, we inquired about WiFi and electricity. They assured us they had backup power, which would allow us to use WiFi during outages. However, there was no backup electricity, and we lost WiFi during power cuts. Despite multiple requests to connect the WiFi to the inverter, the owner ignored us. Overall, it was an unhappy stay.
