The posh locale of Manikonda in the suburbs of Hyderabad has witnessed immense growth in recent years. It is emerging as the next big residential destination along Hyderabad’s IT corridor with multi-billion dollar projects like Lanco Hills and Chitrapuri Colony underway. Many educational institutions, banks, hospitals, supermarkets and entertainment avenues have also come up in the area. Leading IT companies, such as Polaris, Accenture, Microsoft India and Infosys, have set up their base in Manikonda, making it a major commercial hub. The area also offers easy access to other major IT centres in the city like HITEC City, Madhapur, Gachibowli and Nanakramguda. Therefore, for people travelling to Hyderabad, especially for work, hotels in Manikonda are a preferable option.
Manikonda has many local stores and shopping centres like Sree Nilayam and Lalit Mall, where one can shop for clothing, accessories, footwear, electronics and more. Shoppers who wish to splurge on brands can head to Inorbit Mall (7.4 km), Central Mall (7.6 km) or Atrium Mall (8.2 km). Some of the best places to eat near hotels in Manikonda, Hyderabad are Vasista’s Srilakshmi, Aaha Food Village, Pepper Jack, Mehfil, The Chinese Kitchen, Tipsy Topsy Bakers, Burger Point, Churro99, Mythri Food Court, Raju Gari Pulao, Alankar Veg Restaurant and Mexico’s Chicken Poppers.
A popular tourist attraction in Manikonda is Khajaguda Heritage Rock Formation, which is one of the few geological landmarks left in the city. Khajaguda Hills and Khajaguda Lake also draw a number of hiking enthusiasts to this locality. Religious travellers also have plenty of revered places to visit in the area including Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple and Golden Temple, Puppalaguda. City’s most famous attractions like Qutb Shahi Tombs (3.9 km), Golconda Fort (5.5 km), Shilparamam (7.8 km), KBR National Park (9 km), Osman Sagar Lake (9 km), Mahatma Gandhi Digital Museum (9.4 km) and Durgam Cheruvu (9.8 km) are also easily accessible from hotels in Manikonda.
Travellers looking for Hyderabad hotels can choose to stay in Manikonda as the locality enjoys easy accessibility from the airport and railway station. To reach this area from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (30.8 km), radio cabs are easily available. Those driving by themselves in rental cars can exit from Outer Ring Road at Gachibowli Junction and follow Lanco Hills Road to Manikonda. The closest major railhead to the area is Nampally Railway Station, located about 13 km away while the city’s main bus gateways – Jubilee Bus Station and Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station – are both at a distance of 17 km. Buses operated by Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) and that of neighbouring states stop at these stations; from thereon, autos and taxis can be taken. From within Hyderabad, MMTS trains can also be taken to the nearest station at HITEC City.

Fab Hotels booking on the website put us in great trouble. I booked & paid a 30% advance fee as confirmation but when I reached the hotel the reception guy said there is no booking for you. Next 30 mins calling the customer care spoke to Ms Muskan, Ms Simran & Mr Suraj. They refused to accept my booking for 8.30 am on 28.4.26. They want to check my conversation with the booking guy, Mr Pankaj Kumar. We both are senior citizens & traveled the whole night and reached the hotel. The reception guy felt pity on us and gave us room, saying never book through them. It is better to contact the hotel directly. These customer care guys ask to give 9 marks on a scale of 1 to 9. The customer doesn't have a room after paying the advance confirmation fee, but they want 9 marks. They don't have any shame to ask a person to give 9 marks, who's standing with family outside the hotel because of their mistake.
Hotel staff is very ruide. While check in. , they cant evn provided. Towel. , and soap ,tv Remote is not there. I asked the. Staff for. Tv remote. At night they said come and take. Service is closed at 9 , in morning i called and asked for. Towel. At that time also they said sry we dont have service come and take.
I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS FOR THIS, THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE, MISSED MY MEETING BECAUSE STAFF FORGOT TO PUT TOILETRIES, HOW COULD I GET READY? THE WORST EXPERIENCE, BREAKFAST WAS COLD AND SERVED VERY LATE, FRAUD PROPERTY FRAUD RUNNING BY FABHOTEL TRIED TO CALL CUSTOMER CARE FOR 7-8 TIMES, CALLED HOTEL MANAGER 20-25 TIMES, STILL NO SERVICE PROVIDED, PLEASE AVOID TO STAY HERE, THEREARE MANY MORE GOOD PLACES NEARBY
It appears this property has a vision for quality, but the execution is failing at the most basic level. The service staff was rude, unprofessional, and incapable of resolving issues. Combined with a significant pest problem and poor sanitation, the experience was substandard. Management needs to address cleaning and service training immediately to prevent constant low ratings.
Very poor experience. The staff was rude despite rooms being available. I was asked to pay an additional ₹300 for a 10 AM check-in, even though Fab had clearly confirmed there would be no extra charge. Basic facilities were also lacking — drinking water was not kept in the room and was provided only after asking twice. The room phone was not working, and the kitchen contact number provided in the in-room menu was switched off when I tried to place an order
