About Golconda, Hyderabad

Golconda, also known as Golconda Fort, is a fortified citadel situated towards the west of the city of Hyderabad. Once popular as a flourishing diamond mining centre, the site is today considered to be an archaeological treasure and one of Hyderabad’s most frequented attractions.
