Chamundeshwari Temple is one of the oldest and most revered Hindu shrines in Mysore, situated on the top of Chamundi Hills about 13 km from the heart of the city. This Shakti Peetha attracts not only devotees but also tourists from far and wide owing to its impressive Dravidian-style architecture and nature’s pristine beauty witnessed from the hilltop.
