You can start from Attinagundi or Sarpadhari and then find your way through dense shola forests, gorgeous grasslands and some harsh rocky stretches. If you plan your trip between July and December, you might get lucky enough to see Kurinji flowers in full bloom. However, they flower only once in 12 years, but, when they do, they cloak the hillside in stunning shades of blue. Even religious tourists, both Hindus and Muslims, trek to Baba Budangiri shrine at the top, for a unique spiritual experience.
