If you thought that with Sunburn, Goa has bidden adieu to 2023 as well as the celebration of music then you couldn’t be more wrong. Well, after the EDM carnival that left the onlookers spellbound with its extravagant stages, ecstatic ambience and extraordinary line-up of DJs, India’s party capital is back with yet another unforgettable musical and cultural experience i.e. Goa Sunsplash 2024 – India’s Premier Reggae Celebration.

For those of you who don’t know much or haven’t heard about it, Goa Sunsplash was first held in 2016 and remains the largest celebration of reggae music in India. This annual event focuses on offering a holistic lifestyle and cultural experience, which reflects the reggae spirit. Being the only festival of its kind in India, it has been instrumental in supporting India’s reggae community and providing a platform for them to build upon this movement. Furthermore, this musical festival is the home of the country’s two handcrafted reggae sound systems, namely BFR and 10,000 Lions.

In its 5th edition, Goa Sunsplash is going to be bigger and better with not two but three days of good vibrations. It will be held from 13th January (Saturday) to 14th January (Sunday) at Antisocial, Morjim

The reggae fans will also get to indulge in Jamaican and African dance workshops, capoeira, yoga on dub, social and environmental forums and a drum circle. There will be a dancehall battle and competition at the camp, which will be another first for India. So what are you waiting for? Get ready to steep yourself in the reggae virtues of peace, love and unity.
