Muthyala Maduvu Bangalore

Beyond the limits of the high-tech city of Bangalore and into the rocky terrain of rustic Karnataka lies an alluring piece of nature. This is Muthyala Maduvu, a place known for its waterfall, which makes for a relaxing picnic spot. While the waterfall may not be as grand as some of the others to be found in the state, but the dancing stream of water cascading down from a height of 90-metres via its rocky cradle with the vibrant green canopy in the background makes this attraction a real magnet for tourists. As the water falls onto the rocks, it bounces off in droplets, which shine like pearls in the daylight. This does lend credence to its alternate name – Pearl Valley.
