FabHotel Ambassador
During my recent trip, I had the pleasure of staying at FABHotel Ambassador and it truly exceeded my expectations in every way. From the efficient and friendly check-in process to the quiet, well-appointed room, everything was designed with the traveler in mind. The room was spotless and equipped with reliable high-speed Wi-Fi. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I got a restful night’s sleep after long days of travel. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful, always ready to assist. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their genuine warmth and personal attention made the experience feel more like staying at a trusted friend’s place than a hotel. It’s clear that their passion for hospitality shines through in every detail. Overall Hotel Ambassador is an ideal choice for business and family travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and impeccable service. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit.

The room was always absolutely clean, and the housekeeping staff was always smiling and always kind when coming to my room. Staff at the reception was kind and really helpful. They were able to solve all our problems, from ordering a pizza until booking airplane tickets. The hotel also offer a good service in its travel desk.

There is no breakfast space. Portion of breakfast is limited and very less. No variety in breakfast only 1 single dish. No proper time of breakfast. No packaged drinking water bottle served. Rooms size are very small and washrooms don't have proper drainage system. Mai thing is location, it located well outside city and the locality is not good. Only good thing is one of the managers is good.

1. Room was extremely claustrophobic, oddly shaped 2. Room didn't have any dustbin 3. The WC didn't have a Jetspray !!!! Never seen a case like this... There was a bidet spray, but did not work because of the seat cover. A jet spray is a basic hygiene requirement for any hotel. 4. No toilet paper roll provided 5. Water provided only when asked. 6. The room key provided was faulty 7. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust, the bath window was quite high to open and close. 8. The room service person was quite helpful, and cordial, however the overall standards of the hotel should improve in terms of basic amenities which need to be provided to customers. 9. The location is quite scary for a single woman to reach, although nothing can be done about this, but please guide the guests to take the safer road to reach the hotel, unlike what Google suggests. 10. Also your auto answering Phone number doesn't give many options, if I need to directly talk to a representative to address my doubts about check-in. 11. The bedsheet from the underside which was tucked in has brownish stains and didn't look very hygienic. 12. Hotel doesn't have a stair 13. The staircase steps are quite steep and weirdly designed. Hope these inputs are taken note of and some improvements are made to the existing setup.

Untidy and dirty room. I got the premium one. Stained pillow covers and bedsheets. The bedsheet was full of hair when I entered. When I called the receptionist, he argued that all the hair are mine. I am almost bald. He replaced the pillow cover and bedsheets. They were more dirty than the previous one. Bedmites to a point it is 3:52 AM and I am contemplating to just get the hell out. Bed is stinking of things that I prefer not to mention but I hope the stain photos gives everyone an idea. The only good thing is the proximity to Sukhna lake. There is constant car noise from the window (Room 104). Cockroach in the toilet Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Dirty unmaintained rooms. The guy in staff is really helpful and sweet but the condition of the property is just awful. The bathroom and the room smelled weird. There was fungus on the room walls and pillow case. The location of the property is also in a really cramped really small lane.

The Worst Hotel Experience I’ve Ever Had – Avoid at All Costs I've been using Booking.com for almost a decade to find hotels. Until now, I have never written a negative review. As a business owner myself, I know how damaging a bad review can be. But what happened to me at HOTEL AMBASSADOR SUKHNA LAKE CHANDIGARH was outrageous, and people deserve to know the truth. A few days ago, I booked three nights at this hotel in Chandigarh. Let’s start with the location: the hotel sits on a loud, chaotic street that feels more like a filthy alley in Old Delhi than a peaceful getaway. When we arrived, before we were even shown the room, the owner demanded full payment in advance. This has never happened to me in any Indian hotel before. I insisted on seeing the room first. The room was on the 4th floor with no elevator. The hallway stank of cigarettes. The room itself? A complete scam: The room I booked was listed as 17 square meters – the one I got was barely 11. The listing claimed a lake view. That’s a lie. There is no lake view from anywhere in the hotel – only a view of the noisy, grimy street. The bed was described as a Large Double Bed. In reality, it was 140 cm wide – a standard, small double at best. As if that wasn’t enough, the room’s window was made of cheap, paper-thin glass. In cities like Delhi or Mumbai, even budget hotels use thick glass to block street noise. Here, we could hear every horn, every shout, every machine from the workshops outside. It was impossible to rest. While I stood there, visibly unhappy, the hotel manager threatened that he would charge my card through the site if I didn’t pay in cash immediately. I panicked and paid him – a huge mistake. We sat in the room for ten minutes trying to figure out what to do. It was unbearable. Instead of a peaceful lakeview hotel, we were trapped in a noisy dump. I went back downstairs and asked to cancel the reservation. The manager refused, saying it was “already submitted to the system.” I called Booking.com customer service, waited 20 minutes, finally got a rep, explained everything. She spoke to the manager – who flat-out refused to issue a refund. Her only offer was a 10% refund if I could somehow prove the room didn't match the description. Eventually, we threatened to call the police if he didn’t refund the money. Under pressure, he agreed to refund just one night out of three. We had little cash left, so we took the partial refund and left. This was the most disgusting hotel experience I’ve ever had. But beyond that, I want people to know: Booking.com charges hefty fees but does nothing to protect you when shady hotels cheat their guests. This platform failed me completely, and I will never use it again. I will also make it my mission to spread the word that Booking.com is unreliable and unprofessional.

first learn to smile when any client is coming because they are only helping your hotel grow don’t start making faces even though if they are couples because no one is staying for free so first respect second if you don’t have any kitchen service and we are ordering food you are no one to argue with us sir ek baar mien btado ya aapka order upar nhe bhej skte this is no manners to behave because we have payed if this is your behaviour how will you grow ??? atleast don’t be rude they definitely need to change the boy at reception because he needs to learn all this if anyone goes without booking online they will be like we don’t have any room if we pay online they are like don’t know why they keep on putting the ads online also they charge high if you directly visit the place i think they should be more professional towards thier work rather than thier mismanagement thanks i guess my review will help them to increase thier etiquette level

The Deluxe Room is a joke. It is the smallest possible room which ends on opening the door, no lift, small lobby, no bathroom amenities, used slippers provided when requested, used toothpaste provided that too after request, hot water kettle provided on request which was not clean, not even an almirah to keep clothes inside or even hanger to hang clothes. Extremely limited breakfast options and that too with very small portion size. Not recommended at all.
FabHotel Ambassador
The room was too small, I suspect around 9-10 m2. shower area did not look good and is outdated. Initially we had to go to the fourth floor with our suitcases without an elevator. After a discussion, I was given a room on the second floor. You can't even fit two suitcases in the room. I'm surprised that there are good reviews, I wonder if they are fake.
