Positives: Exceptionally excellent service. Special mention for Mr. Subhash, manager, Prithviraj, receptionist and Sanjay. Room and bathroom were neat and clean and comfortable. Service was prompt and response instantaneous. Each and every staff member was polite and helpful with a smile!! Breakfast wad good. . Negatives: Approach to the hotel (front entrance) was clumsy and cumbersome. No lift. Bed linen could have been cleaner. Overall: A pleasant stay.
The breakfast spread was impressive, and the staff was courteous and always ready to assist. The budget prices were a great value for the quality of service provided. The seamless check-in and checkout process made everything hassle-free. Additionally, the hotel's location was central, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers.
Nearby to airport so ok for 1-2 days . They dont accept international credit cards only indian cash or indian credit cards. Not useful if you are a tourist outside india. They took our payment via Booking .com from UK by online transaction and not payment at hotel. Apart from this a good 1-2 days with courteous staff. (Kamalesh Mohanraj UK)
Dirty stinking rooms, specially bathrooms were not cleaned. Basic toiletries were not provided like soap/shampoo/toothbrush etc. Not worth for the money. Location is good but they have to improve their infrastructure on a priority. Staff behavior was very good. One more issue, if you check in post 9 PM you can not get the veg food. In my case they helped me by providing, Chawal, Daal and pickles :)
Do not go by the image you see. Proximity to the Metro is only the plus point. I had reserved a room the evening before my stay through FabHotels by calling the property and requested for early check-in. The representative said, it is possible and I booked. When I reached the property, I was asked to pay Rs. 600 extra for early check-in. I called the customer service (my biggest regret) and tried explaining the issue and she was not at all helpful and unprofessional. The only answer I got was “there is nothing I can do, you will have to pay”. After a lot of back and forth, the gentleman at the hotel reception, waived off the charges. Coming to the room, the room was small and had an odour. Nothing like it is on the website. So please do not go by the image. The rooms are worth half the price. I got to know that they have allocated some rooms to FabHotels which are not at all worth the price. They have better ones kept for other platforms and direct booking. If you still want to book the place, I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST TO CALL NESTLAY ROOMS DIRECTLY OR USE OTHER PLATFORMS.
There is very poor communication by ur sales department to the hotel. When I had a problem during check in , Mr sandeep with whom I had the first discussion and booking didn't respond despite my calls and what's up. Hotel staffs were unaware of details of booking eg ..charges etc! Hotel room 303 was stuffy , and it was clearly evident that even bedsheets and pillow cover were not changed. washroom basin had leakage. food was ok. staffs were ok and tried to help. fabhotel need to improve a lot. overall bad experience.
Restaurant was closed by 10pm. Needs to serve until late hours and should open by 6pm. Lifts were not there. Difficult for adults to climb stairs. Bathrooms were not clean and smelling. Water was leaking from wash basin. Most of the guests are tourists choosing for short stay near airport. So, Restaurant need to be open late hours and open early atleast at 6AM. Sockets in the room should be replaced multi pin sockets as i had to borrow multi pin plug.
Rooms are ok but the hotel have certain rule for check in ,i booked the hotel for 20-21 i have arrived to hotel directly from airport around 7:30Am but receptionist told me to wait until 12:pm to take the room you booked ,after 10min he told me one room available and gave to pay extra 800Rs and also the room is not value for the amount i paid this bad experience for me that i have faced in this hotel in Chennai.
Avoid this place! This place has numerous issues. Firstly, the beds, towels and linens haven’t been changed for more than 5-6 years I guess. They all are dirty, worn out and have a stain even when they are newly changed. The AC setup is probably more than 10 years old and never worked properly. The floors don’t even get mopped for new guests and have stains on them. The rooms have cockroaches running around everywhere. No proper lighting, TV didn’t work and no towels were provided in the bathroom. The staff is decent and they did what we requested however the management is letting customers down by running this place like a highway motel. The infrastructure is outdated and would request the management to take a good look at themselves before they let customers stay in this god forsaken hotel. Extremely poor experience being here and checked out a day before to go to a different hotel though I’m losing money. If not for the location close to the airport this place would be deemed uninhabitable by public.
Room smelt weird. As staying 1 night for ease of access to the airport was put right near the street and tones of noise. Uncomfy bed. Bad night sleep. I tried to order food via room service. After an hour wait nothing. Phoned reception asking for an update. Was hung up on. I went upstairs to talk in person and found out that they had hung up on me to check in another customer. When I inquired about my food, they stated it wouldn't be too much longer but them admitted to having never placed the order when I initially phoned. Reception offered to cancel the order which I accepted. After such poor service and treatment, I decided not to trust the hotel with my food and went out to eat instead. They then tried to charge for the food they never ordered & I never received. Such poor service, bad sleep & rooms. Stay somewhere else.
