The pond where Lord Indra is said to have taken a dip and prayed to Lord Narasimha is an important place to visit in Sholinghur; it is known as Thakkan (2.8 km). You can also visit the Yoga Anjaneyar Temple (5.1 km), a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman and is situated on a small hillock. You need to take a flight of 400 stairs to reach this temple. However, the most important and popular sight in Sholinghur is the Shri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple (5.8 km).
