About Amer, Jaipur

In the Pink City of Jaipur lies the mysterious and beautiful little town of Amer. This town surrounds the Amer Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Places to Visit in and around Amer, Jaipur

The Jagat Shiromani Temple (1 km) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and Vishnu. Maotha Lake (3 km) is situated outside the Amer Fort and is picturesque in the earning mornings and late evenings. The Nahargarh Biological Park (7 km) is a conservation park that is filled with hundreds of species of birds, a well-maintained zoo, and a variety of flowers. Jaigarh Fort (8 km) overlooks the Amer Fort and is yet another beautiful structure to explore.

How to Reach Amer, Jaipur

If you want to travel by bus, then regular service is available from all of Jaipur to the Amer Fort bus stand (1 km). It takes around 45 minutes to reach Amer from Jaipur. The Jaipur Railway Station is just 13 km from hotels near Amer, Jaipur. You can take a taxi to cover the distance. The Jaipur International Airport is 21 km from Amer, and again, taxis are available in plenty from here to Amer and vice versa.
