Ramamurthy Nagar is a rapidly growing suburban area located towards the northeast of Bangalore city centre, at a distance of about 15 km. Earlier only a farmland, this area witnessed growth in the mid and late 90s following the IT boom in the city and is today, a desirable place to live in. Schools, banks & ATMs, hospitals, Bangalore hotels and religious centres are all strategically located in this well-planned locality. It also has four lakes, the most prominent of which is Kowdenahalli Lake.
Some of the city’s best shopping destinations like VR Bengaluru (5.2 km) and Phoenix Marketcity (5.4 km) are less than a 15 minute-drive from Ramamurthy Nagar. Other shopping malls, such as Gopalan Grand Mall, Orion Avenue Mall, Elements Mall and Inorbit Mall, are also just 30 minutes away.
There are many restaurants and cafes near hotels in Ramamurthy Nagar, such as New Krishna Sagar Veg Restaurant, Sarah’s, Sizzling Szechuan, Cauvery Hyderabadi Biriyani, Udupi Mane Thindi and Goli Vada Pav. Hotel The Shack is great for parties, and Polar Bear is the place for something sweet.
Religious travellers have a number of places to explore in Ramamurthy Nagar as the locality is dotted with temples, churches and a few mosques. Other places around Ramamurthy Nagar hotels that can be visited during leisure time are Jawaharlal Nehru Park and Fantasy Park. Bangalore Palace, Cubbon Park, Lumbini Gardens and some other iconic attractions are about 40-50 minutes’ drive away.
Ramamurthy Nagar is located close to Outer Ring Road, which runs around most of the city’s borders and connects to all major neighbourhoods, suburbs and highways. It offers easy access to the locality via two main branch roads passing through it – TC Palya Main Road and RM Nagar Main Road. Auto rickshaws and taxis are available from across the city to travel to this neighbourhood by road.
A good fleet of BMTC buses also services Ramamurthy Nagar, making it easily accessible from all the main business and shopping districts in the city including Electronic City, Domlur, ITPL, Manyata Tech Park, Shivajinagar and K. R. Market. The buses also connect the area to transit hubs like Majestic Bus Station (15 km) and Bangalore City railway station (15 km). Besides BMTC buses, shuttle services are also available to reach Ramamurthy Nagar from Kempegowda International Airport (32 km). The nearest metro station to hotels in Ramamurthy Nagar, Bangalore is Baiyappanahalli (5 km).
This is a fantastic property with easy access to Horamavu main road and few minutes walk to ORR. It is a 2 BHK service apartment. The rooms are as shown in the pictures uploaded by them, no exaggeration or editing. Mathew has been a great host, helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family as well. P.S. Total value for money.
Very nice hotel , maintained properly and the staffs are also very friendly..
I stayed in this hotel for one night on 25 August 2025 and it is a nice hotel with great location. Neat and clean and easily approachable on the main road. Sunil Batra
What is promised while booking was delivered. We see a lot of cockroaches roaming around.
The staff was very nice and helpful but the hotel lacks basic amenities like towels, toothpaste, soap, tissues. I expected the basics atleast.
My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and full of issues: 1. Cleanliness was horrible Cockroaches were everywhere even on bed, making the stay unhygienic and uncomfortable. 2. Basic needs not provided for two guests, only one so-called complimentary water bottle was given in the room. If you need more, you need to pay extra. This is unacceptable because drinking water is a basic need, not something hotels should make money out of. At least two bottles and two towels should be provided by default, and unlimited drinking water should be standard. 3. Non-functional AC Despite booking and paying for an AC room, the air conditioning did not work. When I requested a room change, I was told that no AC rooms were available and only non-AC rooms could be offered. This is unacceptable, as guests pay specifically for the facilities promised. 4. Hot water issues Even though there was a big geyser, proper hot water was not available, making it completely useless. 5. Uncomfortable bed the bed was nothing like it appeared. It seemed to have a hard wooden base beneath, which made sleeping extremely uncomfortable and disturbed rest throughout the night. Even after paying a good amount, the facilities and services were pathetic. This was one of the worst hotel stays Ive experienced with Fabhotels. The management must fix these basic issues and stop misleading guests.
Had a terrible experience here. Despite entry 24*7 the receptionist did not pick up the call. There was no breakfast option available. The staff harassed my colleague once we checked out. The bathrooms were terribly maintained. Id like my refund. 0/10 do not ever stay
Asking to pay extra when the app shows 1131 , the staff and the owner asking to pay extra it was a terrible experience
The Property which was booked in the app was not the property the from reception told us. These people have a different hotel in which they accept booking for the advertised property but send the guest to the other property which is not clean and looks like a dungeon. Smart move on accepting bookings for the advertised property and sending the guests to the other but it's. Not going to work with me. Better luck next time
The place had bed bugs, which bit me all over. Dirty sheets, unkempt rooms. Late at night I took my bag, and left. I definitely never coming back again. The staff didn't even care.
