"Disappointing Stay: Lack of Basic Amenities and Unprofessional Staff I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and my experience was nothing short of disastrous. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that the hotel was not equipped to provide even the most basic amenities. The first issue I encountered was the lack of hot water in my room. When I reported this to the staff, they claimed that they were "starting the motor" and that the hot water would be available soon. However, after waiting for some time, I was told that I could use another room to take a bath. When I requested a room change, I was finally assigned a new room. However, when we arrived at the hotel at 10 pm, the new room had its own set of problems. There were no amenities, such as hand towels or coffee/tea pouches. When I asked the staff for these basic items, they claimed that they were not available. The kitchen was also closed, and they didn't provide tea or coffee bags, which should have been in the room. The next morning, I woke up to find that there was no water in the room, not even cold water. The staff claimed that they would fix the issue, but it took them several hours to do so. Even then, the hot water tap only dispensed cold water. The room location was also poor, with loud noise from a nearby marriage function that lasted until 2 pm. The room was not soundproof, and the staff seemed unconcerned about the disturbance. To top it all off, the staff was untrained and unprofessional. When I asked for cloth hangers, I was told that they were not available. However, when I mentioned that the previous room had hangers, the staff reluctantly brought them to my room. The food options were also limited, with the hotel claiming that they were "out of" several items. They had vegetable sandwiches on the menu, but they mentioned they could provide only potato sandwiches. Since I booked the hotel with breakfast, I didn't have any other option. Overall, my stay at this hotel was a disaster. The lack of basic amenities, unprofessional staff, and poor room location made for a deeply unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"I've booked the stay for one night on Booking.com where it costs 1,173 for 2 adults for one night. While check-in the receptionist forced us to pay 300/- for rooms. While we asked about it, he didn't even give a proper clarification and just said "this is what the rate is if you want to stay. You can otherwise please leave". This is the statement given by him. Also, we had no options since the location was so longer than expected and also it was around 1 Am while we checked-in. Please avoid booking and choosing this hotel at Lucknow!"

"The room was so tiny. It hardly had any walking space. Surely all the good ratings are fake. Also we booked the hotel at a cheap price but when we reached there they cancelled the booking. And charged extra. I even called the property beforehand but they didn't confirm anything properly."

"It's not a hotel very disappointed, it's very sad to see these type of hotels working under fab hotels chain -Lift not working. As parents are old they have to climb 3 floors through stairs -No food service, but breakfast was included during booking paid for that. They have to go outside of hotel for their meal -In the name of room service they charged for complimentary water bottles too - unhygienic rooms - 1. As i had booked the hotel for 2 days for my parents, as my stay is confirmed, rooms should be cleaned at 12 noon, flight got delayed 3-4 hours and they reached the hotel at 9:30 pm, as expected the room should be handed over to them at their arrival but when my parants reached, they cleaned the room in front of them, as they were really exhausted and want to rest, 2. As it was mentioned their should be breakfast included during the stay, but to my surprise their wasn't any restaurant and i was asked to eat outside of the hotel, i hardly payed extra for 2 days breakfast 3. In the name of room service, i was charged for water bottle which should be complementary during the stay, atleast 2 bottles should be complementary for 2 people I stayed in many hotels but staying here is like night mare mosquitoes every where"

"Pathetic hotel - A lousy receptionist with his shirt top open who keeps spitting tobacco in a bucket next to his chair, a dark unwelcoming lobby, a stinking toilet in the lobby, and a horrible room with the worst possible bathroom. This is what they call a Fab Grand Hotel. Shameful! I had booked it just for an hour to take a shower after reaching Lucknow by train. I thanked my stars that it was for an hour only. It's not worth even half the rates they charge. Avoid !!!"

"1. Worst hotel possible. They pressurizes the guests to vaccant their rooms before timing. We have to leave their premises at 12:30 am in middle of the night whereas we have booking of 6:00-6:00. 2. Ac is not working in most of the rooms. We complain, they come, they shows that they've remedy the issue but after 5 min all the ac's were not working again. 3. Geaser also not working. 4. Water logging problem in bathrooms. 5. There was no hanger given. 6. Pillow cover, bedsheets and quilt all are used and dirty. All this for 1200 rs per room/day."

"Do not book this hotel from online platform, especially from fab hotels. Hotel staff won't provide basic amenities because you made booking from online platform. Small rooms not worthy of your money. Would recommend to book somewhere else. Their receptionist is a small boy who can keep you waiting for more than 1 hour if you want early check-in by saying all rooms are booked. Although we were ready to pay early check-in charges. But after 1 hour he may have pity on you and suddenly rooms are available. 3rd class hospitality, 3rd class facilities....do not waste your money especially from online booking!!!"

"Dear Sir, we had booked Aman Sara fab hotel Lucknow through Agoda App on 20.09.2024 , which was booked for 20.09.2024 to 23.09.2024. But as soon as we reached the hotel, we were told that this booking was cancelled and the hotel manager asked to deposit the money immediately to avoid cancellation, So Rs.13607 was immediately sent to hotel account through UPI. But today on 22.09.2024, we had to leave the hotel due to the misbehavior {even attendant are not attending rooms properlly} of the hotel staff. Now today morning i.e. 22.09.2024 I had lefted hotel . Being a ordinary booking manager asked me that our booking is online and didn't refund my excess amount which is already paid I.e. about Rs.5000. Hight of Greed . Worst experience at hotel. I have all my Bills if you want I will post ."

"**Terrible Experience - No Booking, No Cleanliness!** I had a horrible experience at this so-called hotel. Despite having made a reservation through Agoda, the staff outright denied having any booking in my name. Instead of clarifying, they just said the hotel was already fully booked. Extremely unprofessional! I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite having a confirmed reservation through Agoda, the staff denied any record of my booking and simply informed me that the hotel was fully booked. The lack of professionalism was shocking and caused unnecessary inconvenience. To make matters worse, the hotel was in terrible condition. It resembled a rundown lodge or Dharamshala rather than a proper hotel. There was no cleanliness at all—dirty rooms, lack of hygiene, and no upkeep. While I was there, other guests were also complaining about leaking taps and the absence of hot water. The staff's response was equally disheartening, as they casually mentioned that the heating plant wasn't working. I’m genuinely surprised this property is listed on platforms like Agoda. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place at all costs!"
