Dharavi is one of the unique places in Mumbai that many tourists, especially international travellers, wish to explore as it represents a completely different side of the city, far from the glitz and glam. It is considered to be the largest slum in the world, with an area of approx. 520 acres and a population of more than a million. Truly a city within a city, Dharavi is home to a large number of thriving small-scale industries producing textiles, pottery, recycled goods, leather goods, etc. that are sold in India as well as overseas. Owing to the relevance of this neighbourhood among both leisure and business travellers, there are several budget hotels near Dharavi offering a comfortable accommodation.
Dharavi is home to the world’s largest leather market and thus, it is a must for travellers to explore the myriad shops in the area for backpacks, bags, wallets, belts, jackets and more. Besides Dharavi Leather Market, people staying at hotels in Mumbai nearby can visit Gandhi Market (2.5 km), Linking Road (5.6 km) and Dadar Market (6 km). Popular malls within half an hour include Link Square Mall (6 km), High Street Phoenix (7.5 km), Palladium Mall (7.7 km) and Phoenix Marketcity (8.4 km). Best restaurants in and around the neighbourhood include New Bismillah Restaurant, Gurukripa, Hotel Theresa, Rehmat Restaurant, Seven Sevens, Ram Ashraya and Hardeep Punjab. Café Madras, Central Peninsula, Icy Spicy, Peninsula, Modern Lunch Home and Hanuman are other popular options.
Along with the slum tour, travellers can include several tourist attractions close to Dharavi hotels in their itinerary to make the most of their Mumbai trip. Popular sightseeing places that are less than a 30-minute drive from the area are Mahim Fort, Prabhadevi Beach, Worli Fort, Bandra Worli Sea Link, Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount, Bandra Fort, Sewri Fort, Sion Fort and Siddhivinayak Temple.
Both Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus are approximately 9 km from Dharavi and offer easy access to the area by buses, taxis and auto rickshaws. By local, travellers can take the train to Mahim (3.7 km), exit from the west and cross the bridge to reach Dharavi.
I had a great stay here . The hotel was great nd the house keeping staff was very helpful during the stay. Nd the staff was well groomed. The reception staff was also very nice nd polite.
The property is best , the location is also good nd the property is very nice the house keeping staff is so humble and always ready to help . reception staff was so polite and helpful ☺️
The rooms were clean and completely hygienic but when we arrived at reception there were foul smells everywhere. We had urgently booked the rooms because we had our flight but the owner took too much time filing the details on register. We ordered some snacks before leaving the room but the staffs took too much time and served cold snacks with tea. It was costly and also worthless. The best part is room were clean and hygienic.
Fab hotel employee delebratly asked me changed my booking to this pethetic hotel.Only good thing about it is the staff behavior apart from that everything else was just misrable if you are looking for hotel dont book this go for L**m**n
Horrible Stay – Never Again! This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom was filthy and smelled disgusting. The entire room reeked of a stinking odor, the AC kept leaking water, and the damp walls made the place feel unhygienic and unsafe. On top of that, the staff’s behavior was the worst of its kind – rude, unhelpful, and completely careless about guests’ problems. Absolutely terrible experience. Stay away from this hotel if you value your money and peace of mind!
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone due to the following reasons: 1. Terrible location – The hotel is situated among garages and scrap yards, which makes the surroundings unpleasant. 2. Congested rooms – The room I stayed in was extremely cramped with no ventilation. There wasn’t even a single window. 3. Poor hygiene and cleanliness – The ceiling fan appeared not to have been cleaned for years and was covered in dust. The blankets and bedspreads were dirty, unwashed, and had noticeable dark stains.

Worst hotel i have ever stayed… Whatever shown in the photo is different in the reality.. The room is completely clean and it smell very bad. They use room spray to clear that smell, but it smells very bad. There is no window in the room. The service is not proper. The room gets darker when the lights get off... It doesn’t look what is shown in the photo.
