About Sea Link, Mumbai

The Bandra Worli Sea Link, officially called Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link, is an eight-lane cable-stayed bridge built over the blue waters of Mahim Bay. Spanning across the coastline of Mumbai, this 5.6 km-long sea link is an architectural marvel designed to cater around 37,500 vehicles on a daily basis between Bandra and Worli. The view of the cityscape from the bridge is a sight to behold and what makes the experience all the more enticing is the sea breeze that runs through the hair while whizzing past it. Since the bridge connects two of the most prominent neighbourhoods in the city, quite a few hotels have come up around it. Small gestures such as helping with calling a Doctor, or checking on needs of our children showed a genuine interest from the staff in being helpful. For example, the food had not been prepared as expected and the staff immediately replaced the item with an alternate without anything."
