We had a terrible experience with Fab Hotel RMS, Bangalore. We were travelling from Madurai to Bangalore and reached the hotel at 2:30 AM, extremely tired after a long journey. Before arriving, we had called and booked 2 rooms for 4 people, clearly informing them that 2 people would stay in each room. But when we reached, the management claimed the booking was only for 2 persons total and refused to allow the other 2 guests, asking us to call customer care ourselves. We tried several times, but couldn't get through. Despite the situation, the hotel staff showed no empathy or responsibility. Only after repeated requests did they help us connect to customer care. But what happened next was even more shocking — they said they charge per person, not per room, like it’s a PG, not a hotel. We booked for rooms, not headcount-based pricing. We were too exhausted to argue and decided to cancel the stay altogether. But here comes the worst part — we had already paid an advance of ₹833, and when we asked for a refund, they refused. They told us again to contact customer care and wait for their response — so many procedures for refund, but zero responsibility when it comes to basic guest hospitality. No clear communication, no courtesy, and no sense of customer care. We didn’t expect 5-star treatment, but at least basic respect and professionalism. Would strongly advise against booking here, especially if you’re traveling late or need a smooth experience.

FIRST I was asked to check in at RMS Resorts near Yeshwanthpur railway station in BLR. When I reached the hotel, they told me that there was no booking in my name. Then got a phone call from fabHotels saying that my hotel has been “upgraded”and changed to a different location. Myself and my wife are senior citizens. Imagine how much trouble it was for us to again find a taxi! As we could not get a taxi, we were forced to take a three wheeler to get to the other hotel, Pavithraa Edition that was away from the previous one. They demanded I pay for all the three nights of our stay. I told them I had already paid nearly one third, ₹2180 and so I should be accommodated for the day and then the next day I would pay the balance for the next two days if required. The rooms were very untidy and small. The beds had cockroaches. The bathroom was too small and inconvenient. Therefore we decided to check out the next day. But the owner of the hotel demanded that I must pay another ₹5000 for the next two days too. This is never by any hotel anywhere in the country or abroad. But I was forced to pay for the three days, having stayed only for one day. Therefore, the rating that fab hotels deserves is ZERO
