I recently stayed at FabHotel The Hastings Club and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. * Location: The hotel's location is fantastic, situated in a quiet yet central area. It's close to many attractions and essential amenities, making it easy to explore the city. * Rooms: The rooms are well-maintained, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the decor was modern yet cozy. I appreciated the attention to detail, from the quality linens to the spacious bathroom with a good supply of toiletries. * Service: The service at FabHotel The Hastings Club is exceptional. The staff is courteous, professional, and always ready to assist. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. They went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, which I found to be a standout aspect of this hotel. * Dining: The in-house dining options are impressive. The food was delicious, and the menu offered a good variety of dishes to suit different tastes. The breakfast spread was particularly enjoyable, with fresh and well-prepared options available. * Facilities: The hotel offers several amenities, including free Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable. There’s also a fitness center, which, although not large, was well-equipped for a quick workout. * Value for Money:FabHotel The Hastings Club offers excellent value for money. The quality of the service, accommodations, and facilities exceeded my expectations for the price point. * Overall Experience: I had a wonderful stay at FabHotel The Hastings Club and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this hotel provides everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
For the price, I would say it is bit below par. The basic amenities were provided, however there was no water in the bathroom, early in the morning and we had to call the reception to fix that. The walls had seepage. Overall it's ok to spend a night there but wouldn't recommend for long stays.
In terms of location and service, it was surely not a good space. Homeless people sleep by the gate and the place has a shady ambiance. Rooms weren't too clean. I don't trust the sheets were either. No bed cover to cover or towels etc. I had to wash the bathroom to use it. Very unsatisfactory and unsafe feeling. A scent of urine hung in the air.
Room was so dirty, washroom was very dirty over rated hotel. Bed and blanket also dirty.
Terrible experience! The washroom was unhygienic and dirty, and there was no laundry service. The staffing was poor, and they charged excessive extra fees. Overall, it was a complete waste of money. The rooms were compact and nothing like the ones shown in the pictures. Biggest mistake staying here.
Absolutely horrible experience. Worst stay ever. This was the most pathetic hotel experience of my life. The rooms were in a shocking condition and completely unfit for guests. The bathroom had no geyser, no jet spray, no bucket or mug, and on top of that there was no water supply early in the morning. The bed sheets were torn, and the towels were dirty and unhygienic. After an exhausting 12-hour flight, we arrived at this so-called hotel only to be told that our confirmed booking was cancelled without any prior notice. The staff initially refused to provide any room, leaving us completely shocked and stranded. We had a marathon event the next morning and had to wake up at 3:00 AM. After a lot of struggle, we ourselves found a filthy room in a corner and begged the staff to let us sleep there. Only then were we “allowed” to stay for the night. The next morning, when we asked for checkout and a refund for one day (fully prepaid booking) due to this nightmare experience, the hotel flatly refused. This place is not a hotel, it is a low-grade lodge with zero professionalism. The staff is rude, irresponsible, and completely lacks basic hospitality standards. Save your money, your time, and your peace of mind—do not stay here under any circumstances.
2.5k for this hotel is just unjustified. Cleanliness zero, room service a big zero. If you don't have to restrict yourself only to that locality, prefer staying at hotels in howrah or sealdah. You'll get better rooms in just half of the price. Had there been a zero rating I would rather go for that.
Absolutely the worst stay of my life. The owner behavior was so rude and inhuman that I felt like an unwelcome burden. The room was filthy, smelled terrible, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Basic facilities didn’t work — not even the lights properly. I couldn’t sleep because of constant noise and insects crawling around. Please save yourself the trauma and NEVER book this hotel.
Very poor hotel I’ve ever experienced….power supply problems at 11 pm….after complaining in morning also…till the time of check out it’s not resolved…
The hotel staff was extremely rude and arrogant. Even the cleaner was very short-tempered and rude when speaking. I called the hotel owner two or four times, but he didn't listen and spoke with a swagger. The room was in very poor condition. You can see the photo of the bedding I uploaded. It smells very foul. Coming here is like throwing money in the trash. I've seen such a filthy hotel, the worst I've ever seen. It was a very bad experience and I will request everyone in future also not to come to this hotel, by coming here you will waste your money, time and your mind also.
