About Dhobi Ghat, Mumbai
Dhobi Ghat is unlike any other tourist attraction in Mumbai; it is essentially a washermen’s district where clothes from all across the city come for laundry, every day. Over time, it has become popular among travellers especially after being featured in numerous Bollywood movies. Globetrotters come here to see how the clothes are washed the traditional way, by being banged on rocks, to get the dirt out. The modern skyscrapers around contrast the old-world vibe given off by its rows of open laundry areas and tightly spaced shanties. The main reason people book hotels in Mumbai near this unusual place is the easy access they offer to major business areas of the city, including Mahalakshmi, Lower Parel, Worli and Dadar.
Shopping and Dining around Dhobi Ghat
Many of the famous places to shop in Mumbai are near this open washhouse, such as Zaveri Bazaar, Heera Panna Market, Crawford Market, Lalbaug Market and Hindmata Market. In addition, High Street Phoenix and Nakshatra Mall are also a short drive from the area.

Among the most loved restaurants in Mumbai near the site are Talli Turmeric, Bayroute, Delhi Highway, Flax, Angrezi Dhaba, NewYork Burrito Company, Global Fusion, Seven Kitchens, TYGR, Glocal Junction, The Tandoor Tale, Bombay Street Co. and Pop Tate's. To party or just chill, people can head to Gymkhana 91 Bar & Kitchen, Foo, Keiba, Lion Heart, Thirsty City 127, Tamasha, Palladium Social, Auber-Gin, 145 The Mill, London Taxi and South Bombay Bar.

Room not looks like a hotel where you can spent some time strong smell and poor ventilation
Via Woodlands
The hotel was shady as hell. No clear signage outside. Narrow stairs and a labyrinth inside the hotel. Not recommended for family.

It is a pathetic hotel which is one of its kind which I wish I never would like in my wild dreams to checkin again.. disgusting and terrible experience even from fab hotel customer service as well. You don't give any updates or information that customers needs you to passon to the end customer using hotels and you expect business this is funny

Maintenance is not there. No neatness. Check first floor step, with full of cement bags. Stinky smell. Geyser not worked properly, plumbing problem, taps were tied with wires in room number 103. And bed head side cleaning Was worst. In room 1007, light fell down and bed was so old. Room wise 1007 is better than 103. Good thing is people and good, smiling and polite in addressing our concerns. But collected extra Rs.2,000/- for four people early check-in on 10th Jan 2026 at 6 AM (that is for six hours).

Very disappointing stay. The room was in very poor condition and not clean at all. Many parts of the room were broken or damaged, and it looked completely different from the pictures shown while booking. There were no basic amenities provided we didnt even get towels, water, or other essentials without repeatedly asking. The service was extremely poor and not worth the money. I would not recommend staying here to anyone.
