About Akshardham, New Delhi

Akshardham, a Hindu shrine complex cum spiritual-cultural centre, is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Delhi. Dedicated to the Indian yogi and spiritual guru Swaminarayan, this place opened in 2005 and ever since, it has been visited by hordes of visitors from all over India and beyond owing to its exceptional architecture and colossal size. DTC Buses and prepaid cabs are available on these routes without any hassle to make the commute easier. Railway stations are also not too far from Akshardham hotels with Hazrat Nizamuddin (5 km) merely 10 minutes’ drive away and New Delhi at a distance of about 9 km.     "The AC was not working at all, no coolling we were literally sweating inside the room. We wasted so much time to get the AC fixed but it was still the same throughtout our stay. No ventilation in the rooms, very suffocating without AC. The entire experience was hampered only because or this issue. We informed the staff multiple times, still no improvement was there."

And sent us to other fab hotel, which was by the name Mohan. None of them had hoardings of the name, which is on the Fab official app or website. The room offered to us was in Mohan Hotel, was the worst it could be. The beds were dirty, looked like the bedsheet given to us was being used by someone sleeping on road side. The bathroom was so stinky that it was being used as public toilet by the whole neighbourhood. None of the hotel staff or manager helped us with anything. Also, initially tossing us between the hotels denying me check-in, being a female (my wife) with me at 12 in the night and place like delhi."
