Yelahanka is a major suburb of Bangalore, located about 20 km north of the city. It is one of the oldest localities in the city – in fact, it is older than the city itself – and traces its origins back to the 12th century. History has it that Yelahanka was the capital of many rulers, including the famous Kempe Gowdas. Today, it has evolved into a well-planned residential settlement known as Yelahanka New Town or Yelahanka Satellite Town. The neighborhood, which is dotted with residential properties, shopping zones, and commercial and industrial establishments, also has several lakes surrounding it. You can find plenty of budget hotels in Bangalore in and around this locality, thanks to its proximity to the Kempegowda International Airport. These hotels in Yelahanka cater to tourists and business travelers alike.
RMZ Gallleria Mall is the major shopping hub in Yelahanka. In addition to housing brands such as Allen Solly, Levi’s, Hush Puppies, Reliance Trends, Lifestyle, Soch, etc., the mall also has a multiplex for movie buffs and a spacious food court for foodies. Other major shopping places in the area are Yelahanka New Town Shopping Complex, Garuda-Yelahanka Central, and Kurlappa Shopping Complex.
The neighborhood is sprinkled with a good range of restaurants and cafes where foodies can have a great time. Some of the best restaurants in Yelahanka are AB’s - Absolute Barbeque, Onesta, 9th Mile Dhaba, Barbeque Nation, and Café 60 Four. Those who want to relax over a few drinks can head off to Denny’s Pub or Sherlock’s Lounge & Kitchen, two of the famous pubs in Yelahanka.
A major tourist attraction in the neighborhood is Yelahanka Lake, a 300-acre water body where you can enjoy a session of boating. You can also visit the nearby Jakkur Aerodrome (5.5 km) and take a microlight flying ride. Travelers staying at Yelahanka hotels can also explore Lumbini Gardens (11 km), Hebbal Lake (12 km), Bangalore Palace (15 km), Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium (16 km), and National Gallery of Modern Art (16 km). Since the hotels in Yelahanka, Bangalore offer excellent connectivity to all parts of the city, iconic landmarks like Cubbon Park (18 km), Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (19 km), Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace (21 km), and Lalbagh (22 km) can also be included in your itinerary.
Kempegowda International Airport is about 19 km from Yelahanka New Town. You can reach your hotels in Yelahanka from the airport using cabs/taxis and airport shuttle services. Yelahanka Junction Railway Station connects the locality to KR Puram, Bayappanahalli, and Yeshwantpur. Bangalore City Junction, the major railhead in the city, is located about 20 km away. There are regular BMTC buses that connect the locality to the rest of Bangalore. The metro line to Yelahanka is under construction. Currently, the nearest metro stations to Yelahanka New Town are in Jalahalli (11 km), Peenya Industry (12 km), and Dasarahalli (12 km).
I stayed here with my husband and my 17 month old baby boy. This hotel is good for a short stay. We stayed for 5 days. Our room was spacious and in good condition. But a baby bed was not available and I had to pay extra to rent a mattress for my toddler and he slept on the floor. This is inconvenient for parents and also unsafe for a small child. I did not like that the staff tried to open the door without waiting for me to open it. Parking is available. Breakfast is delivered from an outside vegetarian restaurant.
They allowed me to check in early at 11 am. Staff is very courteous. Room was clean, smell free, bathroom was clean, enough of soap, shampoo they kept. I cannot ask anyone more in Rs .1900. only if they improve the quality of the beds. Location was easy to reach. Fab hotel at Fabulous Price..well done...and thanks
This property is Situated on a busy road. Easily accessible. The alloted Room was comfortable, neatly arranged cot mattress okay. Lift facility available. No restaurant attached. We have to make use of the online food supplies. About the reservation process: I had done the room reservation through the Fab hotels network. But during the check-in time, 'Fab hotel' was not in the picture. I think the 'Fab' people are partnering with the Rotano Suites only for the reservation process. Also the display board of the property shows the name 'Rotano Suites' only and not as per the Google information. 'Fab hotel' is not displayed any where and so there could be a little confusion while check-in. Otherwise everything is ok for the budget friendly price. Electric kettle and accessories are provided. TV/cable was not working. We didn't check the AC because the weather was too cold. Hot water was available through the electric geyser. Bathroom was also neat and clean. Receptionist and the house keeping boys were very friendly and cooperative.
I stayed in this hotel booked 2 rooms for me and my son with family.they provide tea kettle with glasses and tea bags.rooms areAC but cleaning was not done every day .The nextbproblem I faced was no resturents while you can book with breakfast for Rs 150 incl delvey for one person.i just brought food from nearby Udupi resturent cheap only 150 mtrs away near to the highway junction.the best part is the counter person after preparing all bills and closing the account, suddenly came for a penalty pay for a temporary stain on the blanket cover for which he asked 300 rs. for drywash. When I refused he was acting as if he was giving something free.the room is alloted with clean clothes has to be cleaned after each occupants vacate but after vacating they wanted us to wash thier clothes.it was a pathetic confrontation .He was realy trying to make situation bad due to arrogant behaviour when I asked his inventory to know rules and the reciept of inventory that cloth was bought he said it is there while booking.moreover one of the rooms 201 was having a shower system u/s for which I didn't even complain all good but staff has to be good to customers whatever it may be.hope the management notes and teach the admin.rest is good
Front office staff was very polite. Room was spacious enough. Bathrooms were clean. But there were cockroaches in the room. Please take care of that.
The hotel is situated on a busy main road with limited car park space. I stayed in the biggest room they offered and it had cockroaches everywhere. There was a cockroach on my pillow and stressful to sleep on and stains on the blanks and towels they provided. The bathroom was clean to be fair. Can't even open the windows for fresh air because of how loud the street is. There is air conditioning to stay cool. There are plenty of shops nearby and restaurants to eat at.
I have seen cockroach in one of the rooms.Bucket in the bathroom is old. Towels are old and worn out. Also even though I paid for my kid and my stay in advance in redBus,the hotel management said that they got details of only one adult and not my child. Then i called up fabhotel which is vain and blamed redBus..RedBus executive tried to convince the fabhotel management but they had asked redBus to update my stay as two adults in their website which was not possible. Finally the property management allowed us at 11.30 pm. Looks like Employees are not to be blamed, they are nice people but the fabhotel management handling is verybad.Even my redBus connected booking contact was not validated by fabhotel automated customer care. So the crux is Fabhotels is lethargic, unprofessional and not using latest updation into consideration.
I strongly advise against choosing this hotel based solely on its Google photos and description, as they are highly misleading. Most of the information presented online does not reflect the actual condition of the property. There was no hot water facility and no proper Wi-Fi. The room was neither clean nor well maintained as shown in the pictures. No water bottles were provided, and even the most basic amenities were missing. Hygiene standards were very poor—the bedsheets and pillowcases were old and dirty, and there was mould on the ceiling. We were extremely unhappy during our stay. At night, loud noise from the reception area could clearly be heard in the rooms, making it difficult to rest. The overall experience was very disappointing. The hotel was also difficult to locate. The entrance is not from the main road but from the backside, and there is no proper signage to guide guests. Additionally, although the Google listing mentioned that breakfast was included, no breakfast was provided. Even tea had to be paid for separately. Although the standard stay was from 12:00 noon to 11:00 a.m. the next day, the staff began insisting on checkout from 10:00 a.m. onwards, which was inconvenient. Although few staff members were polite and helpful. However, considering the poor maintenance, lack of hygiene, misleading information, missing amenities, and checkout pressure, I would not recommend booking this hotel. It does not match the description provided online.
Very bad experience. No water bottle was provided. The room boy pressed the bell once and directly opened the door without the guest’s permission. There was no bathroom mat. Do not book the complimentary breakfast — it is arranged from outside and comes as a parcel. If all rooms are booked, even bath towels are not available; it’s better to carry your own towel from home. Overall, it was a completely bad experience. The staff are not trained on how to behave with guests and they have no idea how to manage the hotel. Our company booked this stay through Compact, and I have informed them not to book this hotel for anyone in the future. Really a very disappointing experience
What Fu..ing service you are running .? I booked a room and no room was given by the reception ..Do refund my money ..to hell with your service ..
