Chittaranjan Park, popular as CR Park, is among the oldest residential neighbourhoods in New Delhi. Situated in the south of the city centre, the area is home to a large Bengali community and is dotted with many street food stalls, temples, cultural centres and well-manicured gardens. There are also a number of hotels in Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi that remain packed, especially during festivals like Durga Puja. These hotels make a preferable choice for leisure and business travellers visiting the city as CR Park offers easy access to prominent entertainment and commercial hubs like Greater Kailash, Nehru Place, Okhla Industrial Area, Sarita Vihar and Jasola. Educational institutions, such as Lady Shri Ram College for Women and Deshbandhu College, are also located in proximity to the locality.
Travellers staying at New Delhi hotels in CR Park have numerous shopping destinations situated at a short distance. CR Park Market No. 1 and Shiv Mandir Shopping Complex are the best places to shop at in the locality. Some popular Delhi markets are also located close by, including Nehru Place (2 km), M Block GK-I (2.8 km), N Block GK-I (4 km) and NFC (4.6 km). For a splendid retail therapy, travellers can also explore Select Citywalk (4.5 km), Southern Park Mall (4.8 km) and DLF Place (4.9 km).
When in CR Park, it is a must to try the Kolkata-style street food and Bengali cuisine. Among the best dining places in the area are Amar Shonar Bangla, Aami Bangali, Kake Da Hotel, Maa Tara, Malabari Roots, Kolkata Biryani House, Aminia, Annapurna, Juneja's, The Gourmet's, Shekaza, Mom’s Kitchen and My Spice Kitchen. For those who wish to enjoy the nightlife of Delhi, there are plenty of options in GK-I, GK-II, Nehru Place and Saket, all located within a half an hour drive from the locality.
Hotels in CR Park offer easy access to numerous tourist attractions including Lotus Temple (2.5 km) and Tughlaqabad Fort (4.8 km). Hauz Khas Village (7.1 km), Dilli Haat (7.9 km), Qutub Minar (8.1 km), Humayun's Tomb (9.2 km), Purana Qila (9.7 km), National Zoological Park (10.3 km) and Safdarjung Tomb (10.5 km) are other Delhi attractions located within a half an hour drive from CR Park.
Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport is around 15 km from CR Park while New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station are about 16 km and 9 km away, respectively. Those who wish to stay at Chittaranjan Park hotels can easily reach the area from these transit hubs and other parts of the city via buses, taxis, auto rickshaws or e-rickshaws. CR Park also enjoys easy access from the rest of the city via Nehru Enclave and Greater Kailash metro stations (Magenta Line) located just 1 km away.
Bad experience fraud krte hai dikhate kya hai or dete kya hai
Toilet experience is very trible.not calend. Hairs and water logging. Rusted sanitary fittings.
At first, my hotel was changed without my notice, that too after paying in advance. I paid only after looking at pics of hotel room and ambience. In this changed hotel, just because already paid, the service and welcome was terrible. I have to beg for my breakfast several times despite paying for room with breakfast. In any hotel the water is complimentary, here they said it's chargeable. Having no choice I said ok. Even after that I have to wait thirsty for water. I will never recommend this hotel ever to anyone. That is why I checked out a day before, even after booking for 2 days. Since I have good experience with fab hotel earlier, i will spare fab for choosing, kindly do not change without guest confirmation once booked and don't tie up with such dirty hotels without ventilation, no water, poor service, cold service type hotels. Keep monitoring. Horrible exp
I had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life at GK Residency. I booked this property through MakeMyTrip for 4th. The hotel contacted me on WhatsApp multiple times before arrival, confirmed the booking, and even asked for my live location while I was travelling. When I reached the hotel around 11:00 PM, they suddenly said no normal rooms were available and only a suite was left. They forced me to pay an extra 1500 even though my booking was already confirmed. It was late at night and I had no other option, so I had to argue and finally pay extra. I contacted MakeMyTrip immediately and they had to speak to the property directly. Even after that, the staff kept asking for vouchers and behaved very unprofessionally. The room condition was extremely poor the toilet was dirty, not cleaned properly, and overall the room looked unhygienic and poorly maintained. This experience felt like a pressure tactic to force guests to pay more after arrival. Very disappointing service and extremely unprofessional behaviour. I would strongly advise others to be careful before booking this property.
