The reviews i've read on trip advisor tell a very different story to the experience we had at this hotel. i'm not sure if we just had a rubbish room but it really was bad. the bed was rock hard, the pillows thin pieces of foam, the shower needed serious strength to turn off, the wifi didn't work and the window looked out onto a heap of rubbish. \n\nbreakfast was included but terrible. we were sent to a hotel a few doors down where there was a buffet. there was very few options. i had toast but no butter because the bowl of butter looked like it had been there weeks. no knives available, no juice, everything just looked stale and awful. the open bins next to the table stank. \n\ndon't trust the doorman. we wanted to go into the markets and asked for the best way to get to the metro station, knowing it was walking distance but not sure which direction. he told us it was 7km away and we would need to hop in a tuk tuk for 100 rupees (conveniently the tuk tuk driver was there waiting). we ended up walking anyway and it took about 7 minutes. so frustrating when you're in a strange city and can trust no one! \n\non the positive side: there was hot water in the shower and the room was quiet. \n\ndefinitely wouldn't recommend.
