Extremely disappointing stay - a nightmare hotel experience
my recent stay was nothing short of a nightmare. from the moment i stepped into the hotel, it was evident that my experience was going to be far from pleasant. the following issues made my stay incredibly frustrating and disappointing, and i strongly believe a refund is warranted.
bad behavior at reception: the staff at the reception displayed rude and unprofessional behavior. instead of providing a warm welcome, i was met with indifference and a complete lack of courtesy. it immediately set the tone for a negative experience.
smelly room at entry: as soon as i entered my room, i was hit by a strong unpleasant odor. it was apparent that the room had not been adequately cleaned or aired out, leaving me feeling incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome.
soiled linen and dirty towels: the linen on the bed was visibly soiled, and the towels provided had dirty and soiled marks on them. it was evident that proper hygiene standards were not being upheld, which is simply unacceptable for any hotel.
messy washroom with leaking taps: the washroom was a complete disaster. the taps were leaking, creating a constant annoyance, and the overall cleanliness was appalling. it appeared as though the washroom had not been properly maintained or cleaned in quite some time.
missing battery in tv remote: it may seem like a minor issue, but the missing battery in the tv remote exemplified the lack of attention to detail and negligence on the part of the hotel staff. it's a basic necessity that should have been taken care of before my arrival.
thin walls and noise disturbances: the walls in the hotel were paper-thin, allowing for excessive noise transfer from the adjacent room. i could hear every conversation, making it impossible to relax or get a good night's sleep. to make matters worse, there were girls crying in the adjoining room, which added to my discomfort and made the stay even more unbearable.
no breakfast served and unanswered calls: despite being advertised as having breakfast included, no breakfast was provided during my stay. additionally, when i attempted to contact the reception to address my concerns, my calls went unanswered, leaving me feeling completely ignored and frustrated.
in summary, my experience at [hotel name] was nothing short of a nightmare. the combination of bad behavior at reception, a smelly and unclean room, soiled linen and dirty towels, a messy washroom, missing tv remote battery, thin walls, noise disturbances, the lack of breakfast, and unanswered calls to reception made my stay incredibly unpleasant. i strongly believe that a refund is necessary, as this hotel failed to provide even the most basic level of comfort and service expected from an establishment in the hospitality industry
