Last week, I stumbled upon an article that talked about the costliest cities in India. According to that article, Gurgaon is the costliest Indian city, and it even surpasses Mumbai in terms of the cost of living index. And though I always knew that the city was expensive, it being costlier than Mumbai was news to me.
All in all, it was an interesting read, and I could relate to almost everything that was mentioned about the city (as I have lived here for almost a decade, now.) However, there was one point that I kind of did not agree with (or let me say I ‘completely disapprove of’)
Here’s what the writer had mentioned, “If your pockets aren’t full, forget about having a great time in Gurgaon.”
To be honest, this was not the first time I had read (or heard) something of that sort; I have come across a lot of people with a similar opinion. But, guys, let me tell you, this is a misconception that many people have. The fact is that there are a lot of ‘fun things’ that you can do in Gurgaon…and that too without breaking the bank.
To prove my point, and to help those with a limited budget have a great time, here’s a list of the top ten things to do in Gurgaon for under ₹ 999. Hope this helps.
1. Get ‘Sher-locked’ at the Escape Rooms by Ctrl.Shift.Esc
If you are a Sherlock Holmes fan and solving mysteries is your thing, then Escape Rooms by Ctrl.Shift.Esc is just for you. Before you hit the track, you will receive a quick briefing and safety gear. You can choose a package depending upon the number of laps that you want to take. If you are a beginner, we would advise you to pick a kart with fresher tires to avoid drifting away from the track if your kart is going way too fast.

Besides these cameras and Arya’s personal collections, the museum is also home to photographs from the portfolio of India’s most renowned photojournalist, Kulwant Roy.

The chamber is divided into three sections – nursery, outdoor area and greenhouse. The best part about the Oxygen Chamber is that it is located in the center of the city making it easily accessible.
