Jaipur Metro Route Map Guide

Jaipur Metro is a state-of-the-art rapid transit system serving the Pink City of Jaipur. It has been planned in two phases, of which Phase 1 is operational and under further extension. At less than 10 km route length, it is one of India’s smallest metro systems. Like many metros in India, it uses 1435 mm (standard gauge) tracks and 25 kV AC through overhead catenary. The trains, comprising four coaches, run at a top speed of 80 km/h, and the headway between trains ranges from 10 minutes during peak hours to 15 minutes during non-peak hours.

Jaipur Metro Pink Line

Beginning services on June 3rd, 2015, the Pink Line of Jaipur Metro is currently the only operational line on the system. It has a southwest–northeast route, measuring just over 9.5 km; there are nine stations on the line. Standard gauge (1435 mm) tracks and 25 kV AC via overhead wires are used on the line. The trains comprise four coaches, and they travel at a maximum speed of 80 km/h. During peak hours, the trains run at a frequency of 10 minutes, which decreases to 15 minutes during the non-peak hours.
